A promotion. Not only did Chloe turn her into a succubus, but the girl willingly signed a contract to make it permanent. The story itself is ironic. Everything Chloe has done in the name of good intentions has had the opposite effect.

Like, there was a loophole for Teddy before he fell in love with Chloe. If he got a girlfriend on his own they could show Hell failed to adequately hold up their end of the deal and Bam! Contract is nullified.

But for Abby, this thing is signed, sealed, and delivered. She’s a demon now. The paperwork can go in a drawer.

I'd believe that if Abby signed the first contract; as it would be typical childish behavior to get back at someone you believed wronged you without thinking it through. But, Abby took the time to ask what would happen to Chloe if she signed that first contract; and couldn't bring herself to do that to her friend. The second contract, however - Abby didn't hesitate, didn't bother to ask what the potential catch was with the second option - because it just sounded too awesome for words; she willfully ignored Chloe's frantic protest and signed without a thought as to what 'being like Chloe' would actually mean when it came to an ironic contract.

This isn't an example of being functionally retarded; it's an example of being selectively stupidity.

But it's either by order of someone of superior rank, or because you'll die horribly if you don't. Come to think of it, you're probably bound for hideous agony if you fail to perform on command, too.
If there's no freedom of choice as to when and/or with whom you have sex (and you're not raised and indoctrinated to see that as normal and acceptable), doesn't that take a lot of the joy out of it?

It's also possible that succubi are just naturally wired to be okay with sex with anyone/thing on command. Kinda like how apes can be taught to sign-language, and can have a simple conversation, yet never ever ask questions (because they're not wired that way). Different species, man. Which, of course, is going to be even worse for Abby, having been born human.
