New Strip! Chloe lets the cat (or rather demon) out of the bag when she rushes to defend Abby when she is threatened by Gabrielle while trying to explain herself!

I feel like Chloe unnecessarily escalated this.

Chloe has taken on a 'big sister' relationship with Abby... And that sometimes causes irrational thinking...

I actually wonder if things have progressed to maternal instincts at this point.

Chloe probably would make a good mom

My question is: does Chloe even know how to fight?

My other question is, since when has she developed a maternal instinct? I could understand if it was Layla, since hers was established early in EC. But Chloe's never shown anything to even suggest it, 'til now.

Wasn't one of you just wishing to see an experienced* demon show these two how over their heads they are?

* though I use that term loosely...

At the moment, I like this twist. But the problem is, what is the end game? If Chloe lets the two live, how does she keep them from pestering Abby and her? Now if they can reach some kind of accommodation that all can trust, things could get quite interesting.

At the risk of being accused of complaining about everything: I feel like this should've happened a year or more ago. None of that Teddi f**king everyone BS, none of those never funny Pandora pranks and punchlines, but rather Chloe being an active character.

I honestly don't mind much that this story element came about due to Abby's idiocy because it was at least something; Chloe causing the situation to escalate due to, perhaps, a kinship she feels with Abby (possibly strengthened due to the now-shared blood) is an acceptable mistake one could believe a character could make, when they are still learning how to manage their powers.
It is far more tolerable than Teddi "unknowingly" brainwashing and screwing just about all of his peers, former bullies who not only don't feel remorse, but also don't change their attitudes due to anything other than succubi pheromone crap.
Got a bit off topic, however, the point is that even this mildly promising development is so much better than the unfunny, cringeworthy mess from before, that I wonder if it is actually as promising as I think or it is merely good in comparison to the trash? In any case, Chloe being involved in her spin-off again is a good thing.

If she's (somehow) able to defeat them and lets them live, the issue becomes: what's to stop Tandy and Gabrielle from bringing out AA's big guns (i.e. Faith, good Mel, Callista, etc.)?

Seeing as how her instructor Sgt. Slash n Stab runs everything like a military school I'm fairly certain Chloe has learned a few things about hand to hand combat. More than likely it's self defense against greater threats like angels. I think the students of Artemis may just be legends in their own minds and incapable of handling the high class cryptids like succubi and vampires.

They didn't want to bring them in because they feared Teddi's pheromones could take control over them and seeing as how Chloe has the same powers if not greater since she knows how to use them the peaceful end to this conflict could be enthrallment. Good Mel is the only one who might be immune since she's heterosexual and probably more knowledgeable, but she also opposes war between cryptids and espers so the only thing she would do is stop Chloe from killing them, but take no further action. At this point the only one that might save them is Prudence, Charity, or Zachuriel which would also be convenient for Teddi since he needs presumably male angel blood for his transformation to work.

'Mother Forking' ... Maybe I find that funnier then I should but what a great way to curse.

Slash Stab dresses like a military instructor, yet her students dress in Catholic schoolgirl fetish wear. And nothing we've seen so far suggests combat training is part of their curriculum.

The comic's editor has repeatedly said otherwise, even stating that Faith can handle a mid-level monster. And during MC's finale we saw her shrug off the esper collective single-handedly and shrug off an explosion from Mel and Cerise's power combined. Faith was back on her feet like nothing happened.

Callista is also one of the top students at the academy and was noted by Tiffany to be a cause for concern. So I wouldn't take her lightly either.

Except neither of them knows the extent of Faith's power. No one does, that was stated twice in the comic. Sandi is the one closest to her, and even she hasn't been able to catalog all of Faith's abilities. So how can Tandy and Gabrielle be expected to know any better than Sandi does?

About the only thng stopping them from involving Faith is the fact neither of them seems to like her.

The target's sexual orientation is moot according to Gabrielle, when she and Tandy noted that Daisy and her friends might've been straight until they were bombarded by Teddy's pheromones. Gabrielle also only showed interest in guys until that moment.

Chloe sure has come a long way...

You forget about Gabrielle's reaction finding out Naomi might be bi-curious, which is from before she's hit with pheromones. She also says that she's not sure if she's jealous of Teddi or the boys. So it seems Gabrielle was bisexual already.
