Yoda madlibs?
My comic, Res Mira, starts here.

The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.

Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

A busty redhead by decree of the Internet...? o.o;

I think DC is a comic struggling to fit into a box too small for it.

Imagine the following:
A) Each character has about 5 years added to their age to avoid squick
B) The comic was moved to Slipshine
C) It shifted focus to primarily being about sexual misadventures with some supernatural bits, rather than vice versa

While Ma3 struggles a little under its constraints (the whole nipple thing), DC is fighting to get away from its teen rating and become something else altogether.
I would agree with this. The plot feels like it wants to be something bigger than it is. A lot of times the gags feel like they are forced, as if there's a rule that every page must end in a punchline.

...This isn't a dream, is it? I'm still alive and this comic just used an Ass Pull to avoid having to go back to being good, aren't and didn't it?

Okay, comic... I'm going to level with you for a moment: You have officially lost my respect. You started losing it a long way back, but now you have well and truly lost me as an admirer and proponent. You have sunk to the deepest depths of hatred in my mind, reserved for things I hold in utter contempt. Things like the over-abundance of Batman in media at the expense of other comic-book heroes, and how he is constantly portrayed as more powerful than anyone else in the DCU because Bat-fans are incredibly insecure and require constant positive reinforcement of their opinion that he is invincible; things like Harley Quinn, a character I consider immensely overrated, one-note and boring and cannot understand the immense popularity of; things like fellow webcomic Shortpacked!, which had even more contempt for its audience's opinions, was written and drawn by a self-proclaimed asshole who could not, ever, take one ounce of criticism and constantly fell back on strawman arguments that didn't add up under scrutiny, and was full of characters who were only less hateable than the existing cast of this comic by virtue of not having very much character to hate. I have come to despise you, to hold you in contempt in a way I haven't held for a fictional work since Batman: The Killing Joke and Batman & Harley Quinn, and nothing short of a complete turnabout of your existing course that undoes all the nonsense you have paraded in front of my eyes could improve my opinion of you now.

Color me shocked that, once again, the writers avoid bringing Chloe back into her own comic and giving us yet another sex scene; with Alchemy being added to the list of self serving pricks - and I'm not talking about sleeping with Pandora, either.

Alchemy agreed to shag Chloe early on (while Alchemy was in their female form). You mean to tell us Alchemy only NOWjust realized that having sex with Chloe would serve no purpose because they lacked the life essence she needed to feed on? This means Alchemy was deliberately leading Teddy on in the hopes of scoring with Chloe.

Amazing what self perseverance will get people to confess to, huh Al? :-Q
You know what I think, Fluffy? I think the writers don't have a plan for what they're going to do when Chloe turns out to be cured and for getting Teddy back to male form. Then they would have to address the consequences of everything he's done sooner or later, and we'd all be left asking why it didn't just happen sooner if this solution they're running with really exists, not to mention they'd have to go back to having actually funny jokes and plotlines rather than just drawing Teddy with ginormous boobs etc, throwing in a bunch of off-camera sex and calling it a day. It would certainly explain why they're constantly shying away from actually going there, and keep wussing out every time we come close to actually seeing the end of all this.

Can you say you're surprised by this? There's only so long that the writers can avoid the main plot (in this case, saving Chloe) before the story becomes tedious; and this particular side plot - which heavily involves Teddy's sexual misadventures, Pandora's pranks and Abby's rampant stupidity; with Chloe only making the rare appearance - has been going on for over two years now.

This comic will probably end on a 'joke'; where after all this supposed search to find her a lover, Chloe confesses she already took care of the problem months ago - and all of these shenanigans could have been avoided if any of these drooling, self serving idiots who call themselves her friends bothered to take the time and ASK her what she intended to do instead of thinking she was helpless.
Yeah, it's not like we actually want this comic to suck. I'd much rather praise these works for a job well-done than complain about them being terrible.

Assuming they care enough about the enterprise to actually address that hanging plot thread before the end of the year. Chloe's a cameo in her own comic, to be sure, yet they still haven't changed the preview image. Are they trying to cover up her absence or do they just not care enough to change it? If they're not phoning it in at this point, they could stand to actually demonstrate as much.

Oh look.
Once again, Pandora does things that, if the character were male and the beings she did them to female (ie, a male Pandora and a female Alchemy), would be enough to have her encased in concrete and sunk to the bottom of the Marianas Trench. :-\

Oh, so you had a "hate fuck" of Al, did you?

Oh, I get it, it's not rape when a woman does it, right?

I honestly think that the writers of this strip have real issues with men (and women), and I've said so for months now... Pandora being such an obvious Author Avatar and all... :|

It will be interesting to see how the next Kickstarter goes... Because when something doesn't kick start, the bike will go nowhere...

They say, The Internet is for Porn - and that may be a lot of what is going on, here.

Perhaps you saw Giz's recent rant on Facebook, quoted on this site? It included this
We'll do another Kickstarter at that point, which will include DC (Dangerously Chloe) vol 3 (which will more than likely be the last volume of DC.) So yeah, around January 2019 (14-15 months from now,) all Pixie Trix series that are running now will have ended.
I can't speak for everyone at Pixie Trix but I assume everyone is planning for what's next. Ad money is in the shitter, and it's not just us. Everyone is feeling it. I'm still unsure as to where webcomics are going at this point.
I suspect that a significant portion of the Pixie Trix readership may be coming for the prurient content as much as, if not more than, the stories. So that's what may be driving this. Of course, those readers aren't as likely to comment. Page after page of "Oh boy those cartoons are sexy" would get old, fast.

I seem to recall that the *C universe, for all we prefer the stories, didn't do nearly as well as the racier comics.

I do believe that there is a market for good stories, but maybe it's harder to find in webcomics?

Some of us enjoy the ride. Personally, I don't think Chloe could really carry a story on her own which is why they introduced other characters some of whom are more interesting. If it weren't for the all the problems Giselle listed I would love to see a spin-off with Naomi and Prudence, but I know that's just not meant to be. =(( Even though the plot involves finding a way to break the pact between Chloe and Teddy to avoid damnation it's taken some interesting turns instead of endless attempts to set Teddy up with a potential girlfriend only for it to fall through for comedic purposes. Teddy becoming Teddi was a fresh idea and him embracing his feminine side was too. I'm not bored and would love to keep reading if outside circumstances weren't intruding, but if they're going to be wrapping things up I don't want a rushed ending like Eerie Cuties and Magick Chicks.

"Teddy becoming Teddi was a fresh idea and him embracing his feminine side was too."

Not exactly that fresh. Ace and Kade in Eerie Cuties both had quite long runs as girls and neither seemed too put out by the experience.

What might have been fresh for the Pixie Trix universes would be turning a woman into a man. But for some reason the creators don't seem to like that idea and whenever anybody (eg Nina in EC) has gone down that path it's only been for a short period.

This. I've said the same thing more than once. Chloe just doesn't have enough presence.

Not to mention that MtF gender bending has been explored rather thoroughly over decades, in various media, for comedy and/or drama, while FtM has mostly been left alone. While I don't hold pixie trix to a particularly high standard, I expect better from them, be it in terms of subverting expectations, telling good jokes or being hot/sexy/fanservicey/whatever.

It’s not exactly a well-hidden secret that the Pixietrix crew make a lot of shit up as they go along. Some characters grow as they’re being written; others just don’t gel in the writers’ minds, and get dropped. Hence, for example, Takeru in Ma3 popped up, was vaguely annoying for a couple of strips, and then got on the bus back to Japan. (The crew don’t do parents.) This is merely slightly glitchy for minor characters like that; it gets a little weirder with someone like Amber in SDB, who was set up to carry half or a third of the story, but Giz evidently couldn’t work out how to do a “single ex-pornstar with dating troubles” story, so she turned into a piece of plot furniture.

And weirdest of all, here, we have a title character who the writer can’t work out how to write. Plus, we have a second lead with a big defining character feature (the gadget obsession) which the writer can’t even begin to make work. I mean, making shit up as you go along is one thing, but dude, didn’t you think things through at all before you started writing?

I could definitely see a sequel on Slipshine, centering on Teddy/i and Chloe in Hell. Sort of a more innocent LING.

Were I to guess, the writer is most likely a straight male who's probably a bit _too_ into the idea of a hot blooded, loser male becoming a sexy and attractive female who gets in sexual escapades due to her newfound sexiness and confidence. I said it before, it happened a lot of times in EC (to the point one of the 'recent' comics involves Ace becoming a girl once more and having a threesome with two other male friends, and then not remembering anything once he turns back into a male), and evidently it's happening even more now in here.

Frankly, if DC had any OTHER main Male character, I wouldn't be surprised if there were any side-stories where they too got MtF'd and became another sex machine like Teddi. Hell, they'd probably bang Teddi first thing, since the way things are being hinted, this is the writer's fetish (and has been for quite a while).

In regards of CloClo's writing, sure Chloe might be a bit passive of a character, but I like thinking that the humour of the comic revolves around other chaotic (or just butt-dumb) people forcing her to take action. Whenever she was under the spotlight, it was always entertaining to me. And even after the artists changed, too. Hell, I friggin' loved the Valentines' Day Arc (Lucretia being a Waitress will always be one of my favorite segments of the comic) and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when saying that whenever Naomi pops up, hilarity ensues.

Anyway, while I'm disappointed with the direction DC's headed for a long while, I wouldn't simply stop reading it. Mostly because even now, the jokes can be funny, but most importantly, 'cause I have hopes that this stupid arc will be over anyday soon, so we can have the 'traditional' DC humour, and most importantly, its' ACTUAL main character, back.
