Jokes about under age girls having sexy fun time what's not to like?

Oh wait everything's not to like.

I've not been happy with the way the comic has been going for a while but still just about thought it was worth giving the creators the benefit of the doubt. Seeing it turn into MA3 with supernatural elements was bad enough but now we're supposed to be enjoying seeing Abby getting turned on. Maybe some people are OK with that but I'm tuning out.

I just wish I'd seen the writing on the wall before I wasted money buying the DC book in the last kickstarter.

You guys are absolutely right. In a work of fiction, absolutely no sexual self-discovery should take place for a character until after they turn eighteen.

Oh and on a related note, in the real world your thirteen year old just has digestive issues. That’s why he/she spends so much time in the bathroom with his/her iPhone. Definitely not going in there to masturbate eight times a day.

Under age people may very well be doing things like that in bathrooms. And if they do more power to them but I for one don't fancy the idea of watching them do it.

You're acting like those of us who are disgusted by this update aren't aware that pre-teens masturbate. We're well aware of that fact that it happens - we just don't see any reason why we need to see it in any form of media; and don't see how it's remotely amusing, in this case.

An 11-12 year old girl being depicted as having an orgasm (and let's not kid ourselves - this is what's happening here, given Abby's obvious quiver/shudder in the second to last panel and confirmed in the last panel, as we've only seen the orgasmic heart bubbles during/following Teddy's own masturbation sessions) isn't just towing the pedophilia line; it's damned near vaulting over it. The fact that no nudity is visible doesn't make it any less squicky.

Just to add it's also really lazy writing. DC is a fantasy comic which means it's possible to do almost any story line and give completely free rein to the writer's imagination. And what do we get.

Leaving aside the age issue Abby gains tails, horns and wings and the first "joke" we get is her getting off on touching her horns. Which is just a variation on the incredibly lame gender switch cliche where the first thing every boy whose turned female does is stare down their shirt and grope their new breasts.

It's such an old joke that it's pretty much fossilised and about as funny as fossils usually are.

I think my point is that the horn-touch was played for a laugh, it wasn’t depicted in a sexual light in the slightest, and the intent of the author clearly isn’t to titillate anyone.

Calling pedophilia on it doesn’t seem accurate.

The comic strip shows a very under age girl getting off from stroking her horns which we know from earlier strips are something succubi get sexual pleasure from.

While it may have been intended to have been played for laughs and wasn't drawn explicitly I'm struggling to see how that isn't showing things in a sexual light.

Then what would you call the clear body shutter, stuttered dialogue and heart framed word bubble (that we've only seen when Teddy reached sexual gratification with that last example)?

Because, if it isn't Abby reaching sexual gratification by touching super sensitive horns - I'd like to know what it is.

You can talk about a young persons first encounters with sexuality, even joke about it in a sitcom setting like this one, without approaching the pedo no-fly zone.

I'm pretty sure most sitcoms would avoid a story line where somebody as young as Abby was shown experiencing actual sexual pleasure - as compared for example to a story line where they have a crush on someone.

Just as a matter of interest if Abby had been shown stroking her breasts rather than her horns do you think that would make a difference to how you see this strip?

It's an 11-12 year old character reaching orgasm. It's sexualizing a child - thus, child porn; or damned near close to it.

You don't need exposed naughty bits to make something overtly sexual (case in point - this recent update).

I'm pretty sure that most sitcoms would also a avoid most of the storylines from Dangerously Chloe and Ma3 full stop.
Sexual things don't always have to be arousing. Sex is just a part of life. This is a long distance from being what pedophiles would seek out so who gives a crap.

This update was mostly to show that the new appendages are more than an asthetic change. Abby can probably fly now too. Young Chloe wore little caps on her horns and didn't produce tons of pheromones. Maybe Abby will follow suit. *shrugs*

Dangerously Chloe isn't exactly my favorite of the Pixie trix comics but you guys exaggerate. The way you guys act is just as bad as all those straight guys that won't stop acting like Gary liking anal is degrading to him somehow. (Being the receiving partner isn't degrading. Idiots.)

My wife used to work counselling convicted paedophiles and shared quite a lot of horrible stories. Trust me an awful lot of paedophiles would find the idea of a girl as old as Abby bringing herself to climax very arousing indeed.

So now the comic is introducing softcore pedophilia into the mix?

"No no! It's just a young girl discovering herself... through her horns..."

And... that makes it okay?

The longer I spend away from the comic... I tell ya...

Annnd all the worries about a minor being sexualized just got fresh fuel.
