No, she did not switched loyalties, but remember, while she was half and half she was day after day becoming a better person, not enough to becoming a monster hunter but enough to make her question what's important in life... that is, of course until Cerise transferred Hekate's power to her and made Mel split in two...

I think now she made a balanced life (except when the two Mels fight of course), and i don't think she will become a monster hunter, her good side cares about everyone and only will fight someone if she has to defeat a real threat, and her bad side is of course, part of the cursed world.

And that's why i bring up why good Mel may have to fight on Artemis's side (and of course, bad Mel on Hekate's), because Tia may become once again a real threat.
That's what i do... i drink and i know things...

Isn't that getting ahead of things?

I doubt Artemis and Hecate's mojo is so flimsy that Blair could undo it on his own. But, even on the off-chance that he could, who's to say whether Mel, or anyone from AA would necessarily have to get involved? Especially when there's no reason to believe Artemis and Hecate couldn't handle it themselves, like before.

In all likelihood, it was probably just meant to give us a bit of background on Tia. I doubt there'll ever be any sort of battle.

Ah yes, there's more to Tia than previously presented. For one thing, how does she stay still long enough to read a book?

How else would Tia be so knowledgeable about the spells she uses, like diving into other people's psyches, or being able to discern their inner workings, etc. (like she did with Layla)? She had to learn it somehow.

"Artemis" and "Hekate", huh?

Now there's some buzz words for you.

She is indeed a wonderful artist who could doubtless turn her hand to anything, but from what I've seen, I don't get the feeling that she's very interested in depicting some of those bits in all their wrinkly Lovecraftian glory.

Osaru Sensei, I agree. I remember Hekate, but I don't remember Artemis (as a character in this webcomic.) :-?

I don't believe we have seen Artemis appear; however, there was definite discussion about how upset she must be that Hekate (thanks to Cerise) had gained control of Artemis Academy).

Yes and in that discussion it seemed like Artemis and Hekate were rivals so Dementia Oblivion must've been real bad news for them to join forces. It reminds me of the 5th season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where it's revealed that Glory wasn't a powerful demon, but a goddess trapped in the Earth dimension by her rivals.

Perhaps they did something similar in stripping her of most powers, but leaving her formidable enough to defend herself since she is their sister. I suppose it's still humiliating for her to have been reduced to her current state and she'd prefer to stay low key to avoid running into any old enemies. They might not be able to harm her, but they can certainly laugh.

Nice job everyone. I didn't mind the last story, but I prefer revisiting loose threads than introducing new plots.

It just occurred to me that the last three letters of "Dementia" are T,I, and A, like Tia. :-?

Took me a second look at the page to realize that, too. Very sneaky...
For those curious: my avatar is an artistic rendering of a spaceship I drew for a primitive (by today's standards) multiplayer online game called XPilot. (More about both on my website.)

Tia is literally in the body of a pre-teen; Hell, she even acts like a child - what with wanting Blaire to partake in tea parties.

It doesn't matter how old she actually is, Blaire giving her that look is just and voicing his intentions, just...*hurk* :ymsick:

Forced gender swaps, supernaturally influenced sexual assaults/rape, and now, borderline pedophilia. For the LOLs?
I'm fairly sure the writers aren't putting the same amount of thought into the implications of their work as you, Fluffy. My condolences on losing your lunch.

Yeah, Fluffy is putting in a lot of effort to find things to justify his hatred for all the commics. I doubt G&D are willing to do that
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Tia may be in a child's body, but Blair is also in a child's toy. So from that perspective, it's no different than Charlie Brown making 'goo-goo' eyes at the 'Lil Redhead Girl'. Plus, we know Tia and Blair are both much older than they appear.

Besides, I doubt anything will ever come of it. It was just meant to remind us how much of a lech and an idiot Blair is.
