I like that we're getting some backstory on Tia. She wasn't one of my favourite EC characters and always seemed more of a plot device to me. But she's just gotten a lot more interesting, and I don't mean physically.

Good point. I wonder whether Melissa will become involved in this "hobby" somehow. Granted, her two sides seem to be spending more time apart than together these days, and as such they'd be working at cross purposes on the Tia question.

Tia is literally in the body of a pre-teen; Hell, she even acts like a child - what with wanting Blaire to partake in tea parties.

It doesn't matter how old she actually is, Blaire giving her that look is just and voicing his intentions, just...*hurk*

I don't think that analogy works, since I'm guessing Artemis and Hecate changed her into child form after depowering her.

On that note: CALLED IT!! I knew Tia had to be older than she appeared, but I never thought she'd have any connection to Artemis, or Hecate. Mind blown.

I'm hoping that picture of her true form is "historically" inaccurate, 'cuz her skintone looks better the way it is now. All in all, it was a nice short about one of my favorite characters.

Ah yes, there's more to Tia than previously presented. For one thing, how does she stay still long enough to read a book?

I wanted Blair's origin (it's a really good origin according to her), but i never thought Tia's origin was this interesting!

Hekate and Artemis. It seems that good Melissa, Tiff and Faith on one hand, and evil Melissa, Cerise and Jacqui on the other hand are gonna be busy soon.

If you're referring to Mel, then no, she doesn't. It was never said that her good half switched loyalties to Artemis. The last we saw of her, she was mainly holding the office to spite Faith.

Her holding office at Artemis is not only to spite Faith and save her friends, good Mel also wanted to follow her studies at Artemis as a Magical Cadet (the most powerful one ever), that's why her "Musical Starlight" side stayed there and her "Queen of the Coven" side returned to Charybdis Heights.

Also if you see the ending polaroids she is with the council happy, and Faith doesn't seem to mind that she's president (she previously said that she wanted to be more selfless, and Tiff is helping her with that), so if it ever was a spite reason, it's gone now...

@rogermart: I said "mainly" not "only". I haven't forgotten that she was also doing it to save Cerise's bacon, since Faith was willing to grandfather Mel and Jacqui in. So Cerise would've been the only one at risk, had Mel not decreed that no one was allowed to take revenge against her.

But covering for a friend and wanting to finish her studies at AA still doesn't mean she's switched loyalties, unless Mel's suddenly aligning with monster hunters. I'd find that hard to believe, all things considered.
