Adora, I can understand. But Layla and Nina's parents suddenly have an open relationship? I know this lady and Adora had a past together - but come on! This just feels like fandom wank to me moreso than anything remotely canon. And why is Brooke's snake pet in their popcorn, anyway? That pet is rarely without Brooke and she's nowhere in sight. Just adds to the randomness.

Also, anyone else feel like this was a waste of a page? There's already limited space/time to tell a decent story in a five page comic, and the second to last page is wasted on Blaire trying to figure out where he heard the term 'Chaos Demon' before. This ending is going to be terribly rushed.

Can't answer for Seth appearing in the popcorn but I'm sure during the reveal to Layla that she was a reincarnation of Lamia both of her parents admitted to having had sex with the vampire queen.

...there would have been a time for such a singalong.

So, Maria/Adora? Wonder if Adora knows what her daughter's been up to lately...?

Now that you mention it, it is weird that we haven't seen Adora in DC.

True - however, there was nothing saying that Layla's parents were an item at the time; just that Lamia had relationships with both of them.

I'm not against the idea of them being swingers; it's just - there was nothing alluding to this prior to this comic; making it seem ridiculously random and more of an excuse to hae tow hot chicks kissing each other - which is lame.

i'd imagine it takes a bit of flexibility to keep a marriage going for a thousand years.

It was never said that they had sex, Layla only remembered kissing both her parents during her past life as Quintessa.

And for those complaining about the randomness of the Maria/Adora/Seth panel, remember this is Blair we're talking about. None of this may actually be happening, these scenes might be taking place in his imagination.

My guess is, the first set of panels is him wracking his brain, while sifting through things he may have fantasized about doing, and the final panel shows us where he's actually been.

I think it's safe to assume that the kisses weren't on the cheek. It also seems somewhat unlikely that in both cases it stopped at kissing.

@dmra: Layla didn't imply going all the way with either of them, or I'd assume she would've been more disturbed by the memory of it than what she already was.

I like the tie-in with "Siren Brawl." Recall that Tiff and Tracy hadn't yet found their tops at the end of it--but it seems Blair did!

Edit: Whoops! Please disregard the above. Both their bikinis are different from the ones they wore in that storyline. This suggests this chase took place on a different day. It seems the two rivals have another common enemy to unite against.
