New Strip! The phrase "Laid Up" has meaning for both Chloe and Teddy.

So, we're back to the "Teddi gets sexed" storyline. The entire past few months was just a prank. ::sigh::

I don't know why I'm still reading this comic. Out of compulsion, I guess.

So was Chloe saying she does have a plan and Teddi just interrupted her explanation? Or was it just more of the cliche "I'm fine" stuff? Why'd we have to go back to Teddi sexing random people when we could actually get some development from our title character instead?

Something I noticed recently is that Chloe has been her cheerful old self every time we've seen her.

She was all set to tell Teddi something just now, but she cut her off.

I'm wondering if she took care of this little problem already, and that's going to be the big joke of this chapter?

I've personally stopped reading the comic and just look at the forum. I find that it saves time for me.

This is getting so good, I hate we have to wait like this, as I want more.

So I guess instead of stuff happening and having the plot move forward, we're back to Teddy's idiotic plan that won't work ?

That would be ... darkly hilarious actually, and be above "all just a dream" in the "all for nothing" category. Although I suppose it would also be in the ballpark of "all just a prank".

I thought it was Chloe as well. If not who did Teddi get to jump in the sack with? More importantly - How long will this help Chloe? If it IS Chloe will this fulfill the contract? *amused and annoyed here*, grrrrr

Either with a girl for feeding Chloe through their contract's link, or with one of the boys Teddy's choosing to be a suitable Chloe-banger.

Another thought occurred to me, it could be Pandora. If Teddi thought it would help I could see her doing it with Chloe's bff instead of seeing it as being bangin' her mom and getting squicked by the notion. There are many ways they could be playing us with that last panel.

Chicken soup, Teddy? Really?!

And yay! The spotlight's staying on Teddy. whooo hooo.

One can only hope - but, I doubt it. It's been obvious for months (long before Teddy's forced gender swap, even) that the focus of the comic has switched from Chloe and Teddy to Teddy exclusively, and Chloe has been reduced to being a background character/damsel in distress that Teddy must rescue - by any means necessary.

Sorry - personally speaking, it doesn't make him look noble in my eyes; especially considering he's aware of what will most likely happen to the guy when he beds Chloe (no matter how virile Teddy thinks they are).

I thought, no matter what, Teddy/Teddi was still... Straight?
Sure, s/he hopped into bed with the Grim Reaper as male, but that was a love that went past gender.

So if the partner awaiting Teddi is male...

Considering that Teddi previously stated she gave bj's only to help Chloe, and that she did this only by imagining the Varied Wangs as being little Chloe's begging for help...

Well, this is basically Teddi having sex that she didn't want, with a gender she's not interested in, just to help out Chloe, who got Teddi into all the trouble in the first place and who has done NOTHING to save Teddi from death and hell.

Buttmonkey is one thing.
Having sex you don't want... We're past "ick" territory here, and moving into sexual abuse here. Just what's the difference between this and a prostitute turning tricks to help out an uncaring pimp?
