Well I wasn't expecting that.

vampire hunter D's gonna love panel 4.

This was a nice short. It gave us a bit of character growth for Tiff and ended on unexpected, albeit funny note. It's too bad it isn't available in print (preferably, in another Vol. of EC/MC). I'd buy it.

Also gotta say, I loved Fernando Ruiz's art in this one. It's very well done.

Gotoh, I second the motion on Mr Ruiz's art. It is very fine.

As for the ending, I want to say this: Those darn spells ! They always have to end at the most inconvenient time!

So is Anastasia upset because she thought Tiffany was banging her daughters or because she thought Tiffany was banging her daughters in her bed?

Yeah, it's a bit weird. If we ignore all the noises that Ana *should* have heard on the way up (unless she has a super-soundproofing spell on her bedroom!), and take panel 4 entirely out of context - as Ana supposedly has it - Tiffany is clearly in a submissive "victim" position with her arms pinned behind her back (and the Mels' embarrassment could be due to being caught rather than anything else), so she could even have pulled a "Mels 'attacked' ME!" card.

Maybe it is just due to it being *her* bed. Or "leading my daughter(s) into incest". Or straight-up homophobia.

Poor Tiffany, she did a pretty good job all things considered, slew a Kraken, and then gets in trouble for comedy hijinks.

One would hope that this would be cleared up immediately off screen since it doesn't seem like it would take much.

It doesn't matter who may have done what, or that they were on her bed. All that matters (to Ana) is what it looked like. She hired Tiff to babysit 'the kids', not to fool around with her teenage daughters when her back was turned.

So the former evil queen is disappointed that the seemingly trustworthy girl she hired was no better than a horny teenage boy.

Still, you'd think Ana would be aware that nothing went on, since she should be aware that the spell must have worn off (unless Ana honestly believes Tiff somehow overpowered both Mels on her own). Not mention, Mel is boy crazy.

Wasn't she still in Hell at her age?

@Storm-forge mystique: Ana was in the Shadow Realm, not Hell (which is where Chloe goes to school).

Talk about jumping to conclusions...

Tiff had something on. Mel and Lissa undressed is nice though
