Well, we haven't had 5 straight comics of people just yelling, so I don't think we're quite at DBZ levels yet. :-)

We have had several threads of nothing but people just yelling though
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Perhaps not, but we are at a stage of slow-burning plot that makes the plot progression of the other strips feel like break-neck speed by comparison. Seriously, this whole stripper subplot feels like a massive filler episode. If there's a big progression it needs to hurry up and get here before they lose their entire audience.

Meh, it's not even close to El Goonish Shive, which once spent 16 months (150 comics), telling the story of one birthday party.

The difference is, things were happening during those 16 months, rather than two idiots powering up while holding speeches, and EGS is a fun read. IMHO, anyway.

new forum....interesting...

anyhoo, i think..i really wish if Teddi is, according to some forum members, becoming more like a succus hed be a little MEANER. i really want him to just let pandora have it. i AT LEAST thought hed have figured out a way to surreptitiously dig at her in various ways, rather than angrily but passively just accepting it all

(i love egs)
