I believe that would be "Aggelopolis" in Ancient Greek. Not completely sure, though - except about the -polis part. I'm 100% sure about that.

A bit tricky, there. "Angel City" would be Αγγελο πολις, but the "γγ" while strictly speaking, a repetition of the same letter, is actually pronounced "ng"

Actually, if you look under the TVTropes article for Alpha Bitch (where Melissa Hellrune is or was the example photo) it says often the only way to beat such an archetype character is physical violence

Polis means "city".

-opolous means "descendant of".

Angelopolous = "descendant of an angel"

Otherwise, it's all Greek to me...

To be fair, Teddi's pheromones would probably take care of her father.

Knowing this comic, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship (with benefits) between Teddi and Daisy, who is either a guardian archangel or the daughter of one. Which will lead to Teddi having to choose between Daisy and Chloe. And it'll be complicated by the fact that Daisy isn't affected by Teddi's pheromones but actually likes (or loves) her for her own sake. So it's true love vs. true love, and the choice isn't obvious.

But then again, my knowledge of this strip is probably very imperfect, so I could be completely off-base.

I don't think Daisy is Angel, least not because of her name. But it does seem like Daisy and Teddi have been getting it on.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we already saw her affected by the pheromones when she was beating up Teddy, and then afterwards when Gabby and co (whose name escapes me) were talking about the girls being affected.

So the issue of consent raises its head again.

Ah, I went back and checked the archives, and it definitely seems to be Daisy among that group of girls affected by Teddi's pheromones. So it's not true love. Dagnabbit.
