Well she kind of has to eat (its stated that normal food can only sustain a mature succubus for a time if they are outside of their native dimension), she knows how to do it without killing anyone, and as for Teddy she assumed he knew what he had gotten into. As soon as she saw he and his sister were good people she changed her mind.

She spent all the time in the real world before going to hell. You'd expect her to have some grasp of the human world. You don't see the vampires not having a grasp of the human world.

This isn't to say she won't have an appetite that needs to be fed, but it's like she forgot everything and became even more dumb.
