Nope - it's finished. If you'll notice the heading, it's listed as pages 5 and 6 of 6.

And it magically fit Acina...

Not all too well, though - as half of the panels she's in has the straps falling off her shoulders. A properly fitting dress wouldn't do that.

But then, it doesn't help that the artist switches from loose fitting to too tight.

I just realized something. Acina wasn't wearing any underwear, was she?

Nope - just grabbed the dress from Dio and slipped it on.

As much as I've enjoyed morally condemning these fictional characters, I think it's my time to bow out of the usual forum insanity.

I only read the beggining of that webcomic and didn't like the direction it was following. How did it end?
It was hard to follow, and it's been a few years since I re-read it, but it had something to do with the cast going to Silent Hill and dealing with some sort of cow demon in an ice cream shop. Something to that effect, anyway.
That was the episode before the finale, #26. The finale fast-forwarded until their graduation and introduced Stephanie Kane, passing the torch to her (until she dropped out and formed PMS). There was a lost episode that was a sequel to ep #26 that took place during the finale where Stephanie joined them on a trip to a BioShock parody.

There's another stretch goal with Ace.
...we'll write & draw a new Eerie Cuties story featuring Brooke, Nina & Ace. What is their new dynamic? Both seem to like Ace. What does Ace think of this? Find out!
I hope they can resolve this and not leave Ace as a repressed transgender, since Brooke and Nina would seem to be the only ones willing to help him. (Even his own father seems to prefer Acina.) Here's an idea that might explain Dio and Kade's out of character behavior: Acina emits female pheromones like Chloe.

I said before the stretch goal's description (assuming this story is it) is
Kade's a nice guy, and easily makes friends. Not so much for Dio, and Ace is too shy to make friends. What happens when these three are forced into friendship, and yet don't really like each other? Find out!
which got the response
Giz wrote:Dio is a little like Reggie in Archie. Kind of a dick to Archie, but Archie being a nice guy (like Kade) tolerates him 'cause Reggie technically has no friends. Reggie's not all bad but in general, on the surface, he's a dick.
The problem is this is anti-friendship. Dio never had any and Kade abandons it. They're both huge dicks at best. It's not funny because it violates the principle of punching up, not down. Dio and Kade are good-looking popular seniors, and Dio has wealth and nobility. They're taking advantage of Ace who comes up short in those categories. (The arrogant Dio getting gender-swapped would be funnier.) Ironically, Ace is the one with the least "toxic masculinity" of the three.

As others have said, this Acina looks and acts skanky compared to the cute version with Ace's personality in a female body.

All of the stretch goal stories seem to be taking a darker turn by doing a reversal of the previous themes. It was established that the cryptids no longer kill like Quintessa did in the past. Her personality doesn't even do it now. "Siren Brawl" had Marine, who was presented as sympathetic despite killing a lot of people. Hecate tried to eliminate Melissa's magical girl powers by putting her in a kill or be killed situation. Melissa avoided it by hugging Cerise and asking her forgiveness. In the "Two Melissas" story, the light Melissa joins in the dark Melissa in trying to kill each other. With the support of her sister, Layla overcame the Quintessa personality and peacfully integrated it back into herself. The closest thing to male friends Ace have prefer his rogue personality and want to help it. This has got to be a new level in butt monkey-ness.

Have Layla and Tiffany become a lesbian couple? (Layla would still be furious at seeing Kade with another girl. That's just the way she is.)
;)

@Blairfan: No, neither of them thinks of the other as anything more than friends. Tiffany's already said it twice and TCampbell basically confirmed in awhile back.
TCampbell wrote:Her friendship with Tiff was always meant to be just that: friendship, the thrill of two largely isolated people finding each other.

Hello, long time reader, first time poster. Having caught up on the thread, I thought I might attempt to add my own meagre musings to the collection, in a hopefully somewhat coherent fashion.

First I do agree with what others have already said (and better than I probably could have articulated) that I am somewhat, uncomfortable, with the direction this comic ended up taking. It seems like Ace is the go to guy in cases where they need to kick someone around. Also somewhat interesting that the comic was billed as Kade, Dio, and Ace, but ended up being mostly the former two and Not-Ace.

It is a shame that the comic leaves it in this somewhat suspended state where it seems like is Ace is going to be still kicked around as a character after the curtain closes. Having it written off as the mad writings of Blair as others have suggested might have been a nice way to escape from some of the sketchy implications, and I believe a Tia and Blair comic was funded, though I doubt they’d use it for this.

The mentioning of the future Nina, Ace, and Brooke comic does raise the hope of this being sorted somehow, however it also brought to mind a slight fear at the direction they might take. My fear is that they may use this newly revealed dual nature of Ace’s to try and resolve the dichotomy of Ace ending up with either Nina or Brooke, by splitting Ace into two individuals and thus can be with both.

I have few issues with that. First as already noted, when Ace swapped genders previously he was still definitely Ace, but this recent addition seems an entirely new character. So if she ends up with Brooke, it kind of feels like Ace has lost out again, to “himself” this time. Also if Ace-Prime ends up with Nina simply because Brooke was already taken that seems a bit of a disservice to both of them. There is also the fact that some people, his father included, seem to like girl-Ace more than boy-Ace, so it seems like if they split he could be overshadowed by his own “doppelganger”.

Also in interests of full disclosure, I will fully confess that despite (or because of) the ups and downs they’ve gone through, I can’t help but hold a candle for Ace and Brooke, and that somehow those two crazy kids will work out their issues and end up together.

Anywho, it’s entirely possible that I am completely overthinking this, that the intention was never to go that route, and maybe this comic will never be referenced again (are these comics “in-canon? The two Mellissa’s one had some rather extreme bits too). But I can’t help feeling bad for Ace, he is by no means a perfect person, but he seems a pretty decent guy and I’d really like something to go right for him.

Also, very sorry, this ended up being much longer than I intended.

Except Brooke and Ace already broke up and haven't been together for awhile by this point.

And despite that, she still seemed rather jealous of Ace and Nina near the end.

True, though I do find it somewhat difficult to tell the exact passage of time in the comics unless it is explicitly stated, not sure if that's just me or not. Unless a large amount of time passed in the last arc, it would seem to have been only little over a month though, and there did seem to be a few moments (such as above) in the last arc that seemed to hint at them not being being entirely over each other. I will confess it could be rose tinted glasses however.

At the very least the description of the stretch goal seems to hint it will be at least partially a plot point.
