You clearly haven't been around TG webcomics enough if you havn't run into that way of handling being a girl suddenly.

You keep saying that as if she has been having a perfect day or something. So what metaphorical rug are you talking about?
Glad you asked me that, Cortez. I've been hoping for the opportunity to expand on what I wanted to say.

See, this may not be a perfect day, but an average day for Teddy is very imperfect. This comic is sadistic and he is its favourite Butt Monkey. He's already been killed once, been turned into a girl twice, had his life threatened non-fatally at least twice by succubi other than Chloe and once by her, had his parents break up because of Chloe accidentally travelling through time, is a target for bullying at school and then there was that incident with Naomi when she was high on Golden Wings...

Anyway, the point is that, given the kind of suffering we've seen Teddy undergo on a fairly regular basis, a day of being mistaken for an alien and having to lie about being a trans-girl to counter it, getting tickled and receiving a slap across the face strikes me as pretty damn tame - almost like the comic is holding back the worst of its sadistic nature because it's holding its breath for a massive catastrophe, or in anticipation of a soon-to-come return to form. I'm afraid I don't find this latest string of strips terribly amusing or entertaining, which leaves me to wait for the other shoe to drop and the hidden event, disaster or twist that past experience with this comic tells me is coming up to arrive. And wonder if these succubus pheromones operate on any rules other than the Rule of Funny.

OK, since no one said it I have to ask: what on Earth is going on with Lacy's hand in the fifth panel?! That position is completely unnatural, she must have twisted or broken her wrist!

And about Teddi's character changing so much... well, it's impossible to know how much different it is than real life, because a complete change of gender on a biological and genetic level has never been possible.. not yet. Keep in mind that not only Teddi's physical body has changed: her hormonal system and brain are also female now. Of course her personality is so much different.

I don't believe that's correct. Pandora said explicitly that it is still Teddy's body, just rearranged. So he's probably not working with a female brain now, and may not even have the hormones. Just the shape.

On the other hand, he's producing succubus pheromones now, so something's changed about his body chemistry. We just don't know what and by how much.

I don't think Teddi's personality has actually changed much, though. I'm with the folks who think he's less shy about exposing his body now, simply because it's a different body. There are at least three differences that could be relevant:

1) It doesn't feel like his own body yet. It's not like Teddy's spent his life wishing for a female body or imagining what it's like to have one; this was totally unexpected. Plus, it doesn't even look like him (except for the eyebrows). It's more like he's trapped inside a Chloe suit, so exposing it doesn't feel that personal.

2) It's a female body. When he was desperately trying to cover up before, it was in front of girls--he didn't want to offend them or seem like a pervert, etc. But none of that applies if he's just another of the girls in the locker room.

3) It's Chloe's body, which makes it the most perfect human form he's ever seen. Teddy didn't consider himself particularly attractive before, so I'm sure he was worried about people being amused or repulsed if they saw him naked. But he knows that no one ever responds like that to Chloe, which has to be a confidence booster.

Except none of that makes any sense, because if he's having an imperfect day, there is no rug to pull.

Basically there no other shoe to drop, because they both have already dropped.

And yet, somehow in the new update today they dropped it
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.
