To be fair to Abby (whom I don't really like that much), she was concerned with Teddy taking it so easy until he accidentally distracted her with possibility of her giving him a MAKEOVER!!!

It's not that she's sociopath, or doesn't love her brother (remember when Chloe wanted to take him away to hell? Puppy eyes), its just that she has attention span of herring.

I think the major problems with it are that Teddy never really showed any inclination toward being a woman, so the lack of continuity comes out of nowhere and lends itself to bad story telling. Teddy didn't need to angst over it, but being uncomfortable with the situation would have been more in tune with the lighthearted feel moreso than him just rolling with it because plot demands it.

And I have noticed the trends Pixietrix Comics tends to take with its gender bending. It's not as bad as The Wotch's complete disregard, but it's still very lax.
Pretty much here for the ****posting.

I don't know. Teddy hasn't shown a desire to be a woman, no. However, he has been shown to be a laid back individual. This doesn't mean a push over, but it could mean, that being changed into a woman just rolled off him as something else to roll with. For all we know, he may just consider it temporary and decided to ride it out and better to make the best of it than to stay trapped in doors 24/7.

If they keep him a woman and accepting of it, it would be an interesting change of pace.

One thing everyone seems to forget, Teddy has been shown to be curious and eager to learn. Last time he was changed, he even said he was interested in giving it another try, just to learn. So, this could be seen not as wanting to be a girl, but seeing as he's stuck this way for the time being finding out what it's like.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Except he already has gone through this, remember? So it's not weird that he wouldn't angst about it this time. In fact, Teddy admitted he had fun the first time he was transformed into a woman and that he wouldn't mind to do it again.

There's nothing wrong with Teddy enjoying being a woman.

I'm kind of enjoying this particular telling.. and I can't help but feel sympathetic.... which is odd since I also read 'Misfile' and they've spent the entirety of the run with the lead being an endlessly sniveling whiny selfish kill-joy shit.....

Oh my gawd, while I enjoy that comic, I have to agree. For all he says in that comic, he doesn't even try to act like a guy. He just goes on and on about it, then goes the part of being the girl. At least with the recent "Am I ruining their lives" at least made sense, since he has no idea of this world where he was a girl. But seriously...:p

I enjoy seeing Teddy not getting angsty and upset with it. Nice to see a telling where it wasn't something really desired, but something they'll just go with. Life gives you lemons, you make lemonade!

Though in Teddy's case, he did experience it before.

Yeah, since he said he was willing to try again some time I'm willing to give it more room for this being reasonable.

'Stuff it, I'm like this again. Might as well deal with it the best I can'.

Interesting. So, Teddy's brain has become female too, like the rest of her body. It makes sense.

Well, Teddy's not the World's most masculine man. But he knows what he is and he's glad he's a man. And so is Lola. :-=

As others have pointed out, Teddy has been here before and said he wouldn't mind doing it again. So this development shouldn't come as any sort of surprise. I don't think he ever actively *wanted* to be a girl, though. I think he just found the experience interesting.

My read on this is, he's simply accepting the reality of his situation. They have no idea how to fix this, and they couldn't even if they knew how, because Chloe would make dinner out of him. He's not going back to normal any time soon, so he's giving up being male for the time being.

That was only the case in Vol.Ø. But from Vol.1 onwards, he became part of the main cast and we saw plenty of what he went through (especially during his time as a girl).

Ace was a secondary character so we were limited in what we got to see him go through while Teddy is a main character.
Ace was one of the four male characters that mattered in Eerie Cuties. I'm not counting Ash or the possessed teacher as their appearances were periodical. Now we have Dusky in the newest arc but we don't know if he'll make more appearances as EC is more or less done with.

Out of these four :
- Ace got changed into a girl
- Kade got changed into a girl and was about to be lobotomized
- Dio was forcibly turned bisexual for Ash
- Blair was stuck in the body of a female doll.
I considered Layla and Nina the primary characters while Ace, Brooke, Chloe, and Kade were strong secondaries, but regardless the point I'm trying to make is we didn't get to see Ace reflect on his transformation immediately after it happened possibly for the sake of storytelling and because he and Teddy are different boys. While they can be considered high school losers, Ace strives to climb the social hierarchy while Teddy could care less and is more concerned with how to contend with bullies than his place in the school. For Ace it was quite traumatizing even though he was in a better female body than male because the transformation was complete and he was still heterosexual so when he started thinking about boys it was all the more unnerving. Teddy, however, is a scientist so he's considering everything from a clinical point of view and since his transformation is incomplete he's not likely to question his sexuality since he'll probably be attracted to girls as much as he was before, but now has to deal with unwanted advances from a lot of the same bullies who used to give him grief. Perhaps that's why he has the pained expression in the last panel. Sure he could use a body like Chloe's to his advantage, but that still means making a halfhearted effort at seduction. In addition to unwanted attention like the wolf whistling boy from a few strips back he'll have to deal with mean girl queen bee politics which could prove amusing since Triana is likely to be his primary nemesis in school, but he might also find it difficult to play by new rules.
Maechris wrote: To bring you up to speed, Dangerously Chloe doesn't even have four male characters that matter. It has two and a half. And the half is only if you insist on counting Kimmy. And I would have been almost fine with that number being smaller (far it be from me to believe a nearly unisex cast can't be entertaining) had Teddy not been one of a very select few male characters Pixie Trix Comics produced that are honestly likeable.

And yes, I am well aware this will either turn into a disaster for Teddy or it will literally solve all of his problems.
While I regard Teddy as one of my favorite male characters in the EC,MC,DC universe and wish there could be a few more like him I find myself entertained well enough with a largely female cast and as long as the plot remains interesting I'm not overly concerned if Teddy changes back or not. I think he will, but the story would get boring if nothing ever changed.
