problem is

they smart in one thing but not all things ;) is hard to get by 5 angels of different responsibilities, but easy to get by one, or by a bunch from the same sector of heaven

I think it's the consequence of being innocent and trustful. Prudence isn't suspicious because she's one of the biggest innocents we've seen in this strip while a slightly corrupted angel (Charity) knew almost immediately.
