Yes, but if she did stick up for Prudence then questions regarding her actions would inevitably be asked and she could get into trouble. If the consequences were really serious then Charity would speak on her behalf, but do keep in mind that she presumably covered for Prudence after she helped a succubus escape which is likely a bigger offense so I doubt she's too guilt stricken over Prudence being grounded.

Except the grounding is only while they "decide her fate". We don't know what the actual punishment will be.

Right, but if she was facing something serious Charity would come clean. She tracked her down because she was worried she might get stuck in Hell.

Perhaps Pandora's prank on Naomi will be revealed and the judges will determine that she needs a guardian angel and let her return to Earth.

Well, since God apparently exists in the Eerieverse, He could be letting the trial go on as a test for Charity; if she allows Prudence to be punished for her fault, then she will fall so hard she will find oil with the hole her ass will make on Earth.
