Probably a good idea, but considering all of Dakota and Anastasia' problems I'm not sure if trust exercises will really work.

I'm curious to know how Dark Melissa is managing at Charybdis if there is no good side to reign in her excesses.

Dakota hardly has room to talk about trust, considering she's tried killing Ana several times now. Plus, she was the one who broke the terms of their truce.

Layla's still there, so is Brooke. If anyone can keep Dark Mel in check, it's those two.

On the other hand, Dark Mel's presence must be doing wonders for Tia's diet.

Unless Layla absorbed some of Queen Lumia's powers I doubt it. And Brooke never really had anything more than physical strength so I don't see her making much of a difference.

If Layla pitted Melissa against Cerise there is a chance, but the only thing to seriously stop Dark Melissa from taking over the school is herself. Seeing as how she has a Shadow Kingdom to inherit as well as the most powerful witch in the world taking over the high school might seem beneath her.

Layla wouldn't have to pit her against anyone. All she needs is to exploit any opening she's given.

Once she knew what was causing Chloe to act unlike herself, she used Blair's panty obsession to her advantage by getting him to depower her. And prior to that, she outsmarted Brooke during the "Kissing Booth" story by turning Brooke's own gambit against her.

I'm pretty sure Ana still has her beat in that department. Mel may be powerful, but I doubt she can survive any of what Ana has (and that's after being weakened). From the looks of things, either she's immortal, or freakishly hard to kill.

So if it were the case that Mel is currently more powerful than Ana, I'd have to wonder how much of it would be due to the wand, and how much was her own power?

I'd call it a draw. Dakota and Anastasia are evenly matched since neither one has died from all the previous fights. Anastasia's experience would give her a slight advantage over Lissa's power, but she has no reason to get in the way of her daughter so if she wanted to take over her school for the hell of it she'd probably be cool with it since that's just the kind of thing she wanted to do when she was that age. In the end the whole queen of the school is been there done that, but I could see Lissa clashing over Layla if there was something they both wanted and refused to share. I think she's over Kade and Dio would probably be a bore.
