Ana survived getting half her face blown off and fully recovered moments later like nothing happened. If that couldn't kill her, I doubt a neck snap is gonna do any better.

They each want full-custody of Mel, they even said that back in vol.4. They had agreed on a temporary truce, until Mel entered college, but Dakota decided to act sooner after her conversation with Mow.
