Good to see Magick Chicks back... but I am kinda hoping that this won't delay Sticky Dilly Buns until June.

SDB will more than likely be delayed for other reasons. I signed up to do Archie Meets Ramones last Summer and it appears it's about to drop in my lap (I honestly didn't know if it was going to happen or not at this point.) This one shot is a 40 page packed story that I will have to pencil, ink and letter in 2 months (June/July). That's basically 5 pages a week plus Ma3. So yeah... SDB might be pushed to August. AND! While I'm drawing those 40 pages plus Ma3, I'll have to create art for our next Kickstarter that should launch early August. Oh, and I'm working on 9 pages for the Reverse Ma3 story, and 5 pages for Dangerously Chloe (we didn't fund it, but I'm drawing it anyway.) So yeah... I really wish I didn't have to sleep, but even as is, it's gonna be tough.

Well, I'm hardly going to pretend that I like it.

I don't begrudge Giz for making a living, but... A one-month break turning into a four-month break? That's the sort of glitch that makes me seriously worried for the future of a serial work. Four months is time to get out of the habit of thinking about a project. Even if SDB wasn't my favourite Pixietrix comic these days - by an increasing distance, given the way that Ma3 just isn't taking fire just now - I'd be adopting a worried expression.

(The delays getting Kickstarter extras done are notably worrying, too. Not that I'm worried either way about getting those particular strips, but... Kickstarter is a wonderful tool when it works, but it causes some total frickin' disasters when people over-promise on stretch goals. I'm likely to end up hoping that the next Pixietrix Kickstarter is a bit less successful, for everyone's sake...)

Kinda obvious point to make on that, though; look at the credits box there. No Giz. Pixietrix is (still) more than one person. Even if Giz usually seems to have a credit somewhere on their best products.
