I don't see what it has to do with anything though. It's a bunch of entranced guys being drawn to a pair of hot looking girls. It's no different than what you'd typically see in an episode of something like 'Ranma ½'.

Perhaps, but off-screen faceless stranger killing doesn't usually count for much in this kind of story. As long as you never kill on-screen in a serious scene the dinner habits might well end up played for jokes.

Marine should switch to seafood to power her growtj. =_= A nice shark or a whale has much more meat on it than a human teenager, and probably less bad cholesterol, too.

Indeed, unless there is nothing else of appropriate size available (or there is some supernatural element to the flesh or blood that the eater needs/wants) it makes little sense for a sapient being to kill other sapient beings for food (unless they are doing it out of malice or sadism). One could argue there is less alternative prey in areas populated by humans, but the nice thing about humans is we tend to keep a lot of extra food around us (and in first world nations for various reasons a lot more food than we ever actually eat).

Ya know, in context I would think Dusky asking Marine "did you really kill all those boys?" would make a lot more sense than "are you really a siren?" I mean she is obviously not human.

You know, if Tiff tells Mel that Marine was drowning and eating beach hunks, she will be so angry that she will tell Tiff where to find Marine. Or she will turn Marine into a some vegetarian monster (Centauress? Fauness? Were-bunny?) herself.
