It wasn't that hard for Abby.

She had a fun time in Heaven watching boy bands, admiring flying ponies etc and then had a drink which was really tasty and made her feel fantastic.

So from her point of view the whole thing was no hassle at all.

This right here. She's clearly pretty sheltered, and if you want to get super "realistic", she's probably psychologically shielding herself from reality because of what happened when she was younger as a defense mechanism. She's been alone in the house with only her older brother who's spent a lot of time in the basement tinkering with things. She's probably spent a fair amount of time alone by herself; haven't yall ever noticed she never had friends before now? Or none that were ever mentioned. Has she even really processed the whole parent thing?? Who knows!
