So did I when she was first introduced. But its ALL good.

BTW, anyone who thinks Brooke is male obviously has only seen her in her school uniform. B-)

Mama Delacroix is a sharp one, she figured Brooke out in about two seconds flat. Also it seems the theory about Chloe being an orphan just got shot in the foot.

Adding vampire hypno-powers, speed, strength and endurance, and near-immortality to gain experience and skills unavailable to mortal humans to the egocentrical sexual dynamo and personal line-crosser that is Zii? =_= Measured by my mileage: BAD.

Don't forget, her name is from Monseiur Delacroix, and as far as we know, there is no evidence that he married within French Canadian community. Lets get down to it, she might be speaking with a sexy easter European accent.
Then again she instantly recognised a melusine and that's a French creature.

Man and I thought my mom was embarssing. :)

I'm excited about this. Maybe Giz will hold a contest where we get to create Brooke's parents! Honestly, I want to see the parents of the others!

In regards to Vamp Zii...

That sounds like the topic of an interesting poll.

Vamp Zii, awesome beyond all reason, or the end of humanity as we know it?

When I think of Brooke’s parents I am drawn to Rouce the Red Lightning (Ex adventurer/ Monster Slayer) and his wife Mana (Red dragon he was sent to capture), parent on Mink, from the Manga Dragon Half. http://www.mangafox.com/manga/dragon_half/c001/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Half

Or course brook is no Mink but they seems to fit the template of her mom's kind quite well.

You know, I think I heard about someone actually making a strong argument that the two things mentioned in that quote right there are not mutually exclusive. Supposedly, it's writer called it a proof. (like the mathematical stuff)

For those that don't get my meaning... simply put that something that is essentially "awesome beyond all reason" is ultimately, and inseparable from being, "the end of humanity as we know it." Largely because A.B.A.R. pretty much guarantees to alter/affect humanity in some paradigm shift inducing manner or another. Aka T.E.O.H.A.W.K.I.
