A rival since first grade and we never saw her at Artemis Academy. I wonder why since she's a slayer.

@brasca: My guess would be, she's either from a different school, or she comes from another family of slayers - like Tiff (and Steph in PMS).

Now I'm wondering how many of these cryptid fighting schools exist. Artemis and Apollo already seem like they'd be enough to do the job.

Strangely enough I can suspend my ability to disbelieve in vampires, witches, and werewolves, but find it hard to believe that there are potentially 3 schools that fight monsters in what I think is a suburb of Montreal.

I thought they were in Thornhill, Ontario?

That depends on how widespread the cryptids population is, proportionate to number of cryptid related incidents.

The PMS crew (for example) took cases all across the US, which was a tall order for a group of only 4 people to handle by themselves. So imagine only 2 or 3 schools training future monster hunters and it isn't hard to see why there'd be a need for more of them.

Okay suburb of Toronto. I based my earlier conclusion on Dakota's recollection of Queen Obscuria attacking Montreal on a weekly basis. I suppose after their final showdown they might have thought it wise to move to a different city to avoid running into previous acquaintances.

Perhaps the cryptids and cryptid fighters send their kin to the big city to get an education since it's easier to fund a few big schools in one area than a bunch of little ones throughout Canada.
