Very disappointed in this strip. I wanted to see a confrontation or some real consequences from the previous action.

Yeah. I think the build-up strips (collapse, operate!, killing paramedics & striding down the street demon-bits out, dark & stormy entrance) wrote a cheque that this strip bounced.

I would say that in this case that whatever ultimately occurs from all this will have more dramatic/comedic value if it comes kinda out of the blue. If we can see it coming as obviously as the lead up the start of this chapter suggests then that takes away from it in my book. This way we can at least get some exposition during the chapter, lets just view this as a pause before the storm, almost literally from the looks of the sky out the window.

No, I don't think the writhing staff is up for something like that. Most of the time they will try to be funny, sometime it works, sometime it doesn't, most of the times they tell the same joke again and again. Think of it as star trek voyager as a harem webcomic and you are fine. Now where have I left my reset button

As for Chloë's reaction. I have to think that her brain's circuit breaker has been tripped. She knew something was up... but wasn't up to handling how up Teddy has recently (be)come...

I hope Teddy really transforms like that. There needs to be more male fan service and it probably should have been. The first thing Chloe did to him when trying to help him get a gf. Maybe cast a spell that forces him to work out everyday like the wand did to Mel in th witch comic.

Reset buttons don't seem to be nearly so much of an issue as they were in Voyager, but rather the constantly plummeting enjoyability of the comic's lead and the lack of any sort of rules or world-building to give the audience a sense of what's going on and what they can/should care about. Some exposition would be nice though, if the pacing can handle it.
