Tiff on Patrol

Post by tau neutrino »

Any thoughts on this (the bonus story in vol. 4)? Tiffany seems not only to have back to being a ditz but become totally oblivious. She did find Charybdis after all. Even worse, she seems to have fallen from the vampire hunting path, letting someone get fed on and apparently letting Layla feed on her (unless that's a continuation of when she saved Faith from Layla). Since her whole family are vampire hunters, wouldn't they be suspicious of sudden anemia? These are supposed to be gag strips, but still.

It's nice to see Tiff's nude yoga, but she should keep her door closed if she doesn't want to give her brother a complex.

Why is Brooke scaring two graffitti taggers with her snake form? She's usually a lot more discreet, especially with Artemis Academy in town.

How did you get yours already?
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

You might want to add a "spoilers" tag to the title of this thread. Not everyone has got the books yet.

Aploogies, I forgot the PDFS were pledged separately from the physical books. Gis posted the links for the former last week. I'll wait to post comments on the "When Cloe Met Lucretia" bonus story.

So are these stories for kickstart backers only?

They're exclusive to the collections. If you didn't get them in the Kickstarter, you can get the physical books from the store (the latest ones aren't available yet) and the ebooks from gumroad (Eerie Cuties 4, which has the "Tiff on Patrol" bonus story, is already available as is Dangerously Chloe 1 which includes the book exclusive chapter "When Lucretia Met Chloe").

I'm not sure it actually counts as a "story" as much as a series of disappointing one-shots.

How much can you expect from gag strips?

It is kind of disturbing that Tiff might be addicted to being fed upon. Maybe her family and friends will have to do an intervention.

Courtesy of Update 32 (Nov 27th):
Quick post to let you know that we started to ship books AND sending PDF links to those who pledged for PDFs. Since it's not easy for me to know who added PDFs to physical rewards without going into each one individually, I will only send the "add-on" PDFs once we do the mailing for those orders. HOWEVER! If you want to receive it sooner, feel free to message me in Kickstarter, and I'll send the link(s) over. :)

When we say we started to ship books, that's exactly what it means! lol We have over 1000 packages to mail out, so it can take a couple of weeks to ship them all. I'll keep you up to date to our progress early December.
So hopefully those who requested EC / MC / DC / M3 books will receive them before Christmas (it might take a bit longer than usual because of the Christmas Post) alongside any PDFs they ordered as add-ons.

There was a new Update 33 (Dec 13th):
Just a quick update to let you know that we are still shipping books. I think by late Monday, we'll have shipped about half of what we need to ship. We have another 2 weeks in front of us easy to complete everything. Most of you won't be receiving a tracking number. Although we are still using Canada Post to ship, we aren't using a 3rd party (Paypal last year) this year to ship. And depending on the type of service chosen to mail (surface vs airmail or expedite,) the Canada Post software doesn't always allow us to send a notification email to the receiver. Technically, Canadian & USA backers should have received their package before the end of the month or early January. For other countries, if you backed for 1 book, or 1 book with postcards, you should also receive it around that time. International backers with more than 1 book, or even a book with posters or add-ons... those will probably just arrive late January/early February since we aren't using the speediest of service (it literally costs a fortune to send a big package air mail from Canada.) And as you know, large packages sent to Australia seem to take an eternity to get there, but they do get there!
So it might be after Christmas. The update also mentions the Die Kitty Die Kickstarter, which Gisele is drawing a story for since it met it's $35k stretch goal. It recently met it's $42k goal, so you can add a magnet with Gisele's art.
