Eerie Cuties/Magick Chicks future stories as stretch goals

Post by tau neutrino »

The new stretch goals for the Kickstarter have been announced in this update, and they include at least 46-50 pages of new stories that will run online in EC/MC, with a goal of having them colored by Shiori. Since additional short stories are possible for every 6k CAD after that, would anyone be interested in Blair's super secret origin as one of them?

UPDATE: The $128,000 CAD goal with the Ace/Dio/Kade story says " Kade's a nice guy, and easily makes friends." Did anyone get that impression? I thought Kade was just below Dio in jerkiness. He doesn't seem to have friends, just potential romantic interests.

Another idea for a stretch goal story: there will be a Melissa one, but how are Dakota and Anastasia doing since they no longer have to keep up the deception? They're both attractive, relatively young women. Will they try to get back in the dating pool? Will Dakota try to be girly again? Is the Heavenly Highwayman still around and single? Will Ana go to her high school reunion and meet an old crush? Are their parents still alive and do they know about Melissa?

I think it'd be funnier andbetter if left as a mystery, or some noodle incident

Funnier perhaps. But I need closure on that one.

There's just not enough info to have a satisfying fan theory regarding Blair. So I vote for closure too.

Well, as an example, I foundnone of the prolems with the Star Wars EU was they did detail all the noodle incidents. Took the fun out of it.

If it were anyone else, sure, but Blair is an annoying character. So the less of him, the better. :-Q

At least, that's what I'd like to say. But I have to admit that I'm curious, only because I wanna know if there was any truth to what he told Ace about this group he was allegedly working with. In which case, it might be worth it to find out.

As for future bonus stories, hopefully there'll be one for Faith, or maybe one for Tandy and Gaby (like how they became friends). I'd be happy with either one.

I don't see that as likely - I know KSs often have a last-minute rush, but just to get to *all the listed stories in B&W* would require 50% of the current total all over again in the last couple of days. I see that as pretty unlikely, let alone all the way to 166% of current to get more on top of that.

I raised the same point in the update link above, and Gis compared it to the Kickstarter for vol. 6, which was about 5k lower than this one at this point and ended up at $149,890 CAD. So it's not impossible with the surge at 48 hours (when reminders are sent out). The previous one got 25% of its total then.

All the short stories except for the Chloe one were funded. Hopefully it will show up online. Congratulations to Gis et al for getting 524% of the goal.
