She stole them in the last comic. Look at panel three, you can see the profile of shoes in her hand.

time to make a redraw of that panel, we can understand differences of styles and what not, but that one is a continuity issue and easily feasible

wonder if it is normal for mere humans to be able to put such a good fight against those monsters? or is just a case of sheer numbers and they can recover even if mere humans put a good fight?

are those things humans who were in same situation as Teddy in the past?

Lost souls looking for a body to take over would seem like a special situation even in Hell.

Though given they are stated to not have bodies how is a non-magical being like Teddy able to flip them? Not that I expect that to be explained.

Hmmm... maybe the souls are forming bodies out of the hot rocks, hence why the one Teddy threw cracked apart?

The shoes disappearing and reappearing is a continuity problem, but what I'd like to know is how he could be wrestling with these lost souls and not suffer third degree burns. They appear to be made out of the same material as the ground he is walking on and should be just as hot.
