Yes and no. The original bet made no mention of a time limit - you might say they got off lightly.

(Of course, if it always really *was* just going to be for the spa weekend, that makes Chloe's actions this chapter all the more unconscionable...)

So, am I the only one who thinks this chapter (if this strip, as it appears, is indeed the end-of-chapter tag scene) was... pretty much a complete waste? Leaving aside the art shift (which was... punctual), the core of it was a series of unconnected and - more importantly - unfunny breakup jokes, it pretty much tanked Chloe as a character, the cameos at the start (Alchemy & Pandora in particular) never went anywhere,...

While I *ahem* enjoy that last panel, I'm upset at the whole winner of the spa weekend wins the bet.

I wanted to say more but my brain just doesn't want to focus.

I also don't remember if it was mentioned that there was a time limit on the Slave thing.

I mean, we all assumed it would be on a long term basis. Though i guess we assumed wrong.

exactly, the bet was specifically about the 2 of them, not the other succubi, and I think this is end of the chapter, as the "winner" will not be involved with Teddy

and the bet was simply "whoever made the most between Luc and chloe would have the other as her slave" no mention of amount of time

Everyone a winner... except them, lol.

Did they specify that the bet was only those two? People may have assumed that, but it's easy enough to take it to be a more open bet.

That and the wager was "the loser becomes the winner's slave." Since Chloe and Lucretia lost they are losers, plural. You would think demons from hell would be better at contracts and loopholes.

Of course Ilsa is only enslaving them for the weekend instead of an indefinite period of time and given the consequences of Chloe being owned by Lucretia or vice versa a bikini tickle fight is not bad.
