Basically confirms the general gist of what most of us thought last thread, if not the details, with the slight twist that DarkMel has the entirety of the original "Melissa" body.

And... wait, where's Jacqui in the "retrieval" panel? If LightMel was prioritising her, shouldn't she have been there to home in on? And if she was grabbed first, did the AA Council cast her out of the group wherever-they-were?

Also, LightMel clearly still doesn't treat everyone as equal, if Callie, Amelia and the torturess are "and the rest"-ed ;)

One further thought - I hope the ending of the Dark Cerise Saga isn't going to be LightMel somehow rejoining the presumably-extant-but-powerless (no wand) LightCerise spirit with DarkCerise and that somehow redeeming her. If there's one BIG difference between DarkCerise and DarkMel, it's that Cerise *chose* to drink the corrupting juice knowing what it was, Mel had it forced into her. Which means a CompleteCerise would still be *entirely responsible* for what she did Under The Influence.

I think they said that both Eerie Cuties and Magick Chicks had about 20 pages left to finish their respective story lines - each. So, maybe they're focusing on Magick Chicks first (hence the on time updates) so they can free up some time to focus on ending Eerie Cuties (returning to their own on schedule updates).

I'm seriously going to miss these two series. (to be honest - I'd rather see Dangerously Chloe come to a close; the whole angel/demon thing is just...bleh).

Had she not decided to inject Mel with the dark essence, Mel couldn't have found the girls and brought them back.

The resultant LightMel appears to be incredibly powerful: sensing Jacqui from afar, willing a body into existence, teleporting the girls. Sounds like demigod status to me... which would justify Hecate's fear and loathing of the TackyWand. Of course, she still has Mel's persistent lack of focus. Next target... Hecate herself?

Of course not. Mel didn't know any of them, save Callie, and then only by reputation, till the day of the camping trip. If you were talking about a group of people made up of your best friend, a good friend, a regular aquaintance, and 3 near strangers, do you mention the strangers by name?
