Actually, this makes me wonder how long Blair had been in that doll. Is it possible that it was only a doll that little Layla played with only for it to 'wake up' one day. And given Blair's personality, that wouldn't have been the most pleasant experience for Layla, especially if the doll was a favorite of her's. Could be that it's not that she's being bratty, but she's scarred by having her favorite doll become something she hated, effectively 'taken away' from her.

And now I step back from reading waaaaaayyyy too deeply into things. ;)

Seems plausible, but I still want to know why Tia wants Bessie so badly. Perhaps she was the original owner who somehow summoned Blair's ghost and trapped him in a doll. He later escaped and found the Delacroix household where he either posed as an inanimate doll for some time and then seemingly came to life shortly after Nina was born or he was who was the degenerate pervert in a doll's body from day one. Then again I doubt Blair could have played dead in a house filled with young buxom vampires, the yet unseen Delacroix sisters for more than an hour.

King Lupus wasn't the only enemy she had, and even if he were, that'd hardly mean he and Blair were the same person. Especially since there's never been any indication of Blair ever being a werewolf.

let's say it is definitely canon, all it establishes is that there were others besides King Lupus(relative of Ace) and one Victim was princess Alexandra, so "the only known we can consider" but can easily end up that Blair was an unknown that has not been established yet

only known things for "Blair" is that is Male, loves to collect women's panties, loves seeing hot women make out with each other, and was an enemy of Lamia, learned to care about Nina and maybe Layla, and was willing to kill Nina if he was forced to do it, nothing about what he exactly was(another rival vampire, vampire hunter, werewolf, monarch, something else)

King Lupus? just that he is a werewolf(obvious), mortal enemy of Lamia and decapitated by mr. Boodles,, nothing about his personality

so Lupus is possible, but nothing to confirm it

It'd seem outta left-field, to me. The only thing he and Blair share in common is, they both use stakes. But so does Tiffany, since it's a well-known method for killing vampires.

and in the strip he says "Lupus the wolfhearted"(one word) and Ace last name is wolfhart, so being a relative has a higher probability than Lupus ending up being Blair(but still possible without anything to lessen that possibility)

But what does Blair is doing in Layla deepest psyche ? That makes no sense ! More, it's strange in that it implies Layla is very fond of Blair, while it has been established since the beginning of the comic that Blair is Nina's. I'm confused.
