According to some myth's they can have children so it would kinda make sense if they had a period cycle if they can get pregnant.

Other myth's and religious documents paint very weird pictures, involving them turning into incubi to have children with human women. I dont think this strip is going down those lines though as we only ever saw chole with one mom.

According to the strip, succubi and incubi in this world can swap. A succubus can become an incubus and vice versa. It just appears to be something that doesn't happen often. I don't think the strip is going to get into the myths about how a succubus would sleep with a man then change into an incubus and use that man's sperm to impregnate a woman.
