Yeah she looks older, probably because she moves more like a woman now. That's a bit disturbing after the previous chapter where she was all goofy and childlike. A bit rushed.

Where are the supervising adults? I know the Dad had the motel tryst with the Aunt and Mom left him, but who got control of the kids? How are they living in the house by themselves? Can someone remind me?
