Mildly disappointed we didn't see the bicurious side leer at the envious side. Yes, even considering the incestuous connotations.

It wouldn't be incest, it'd be masturbation and/or vanity.

Even when just a subaspect of Layla's personality, Melissa is FABULOUS!!!! :D

And kudos to whoever called it that these were parts of Layla's personality. :-bd :ymapplause:

Also, I am totally flashing Fight Club now.

Wait. Layla envies Mel? 'cuz it sure didn't look that way here. It looked to be the other way around. Otherwise, why would Mel have felt threatened by her looks? :-\

Aside from that, this is an interesting update. I suppose the image of Faith must've been Layla's ego then. Which makes me wonder if we'll see a side of her that's represented by Ace that explains why she gives him such a hard time?

I doubt that's Layla's 'bicurious' side....it's just the lesbian side she hasn't unleashed yet :p

Bwahahahaha... way to have your personification argue it out inside your head :D

Funny enough, its all part of Layla which the Queen will suppress as she has no need of them (... though the bicurious side might be in for capture and interrogation), so figure they shelter up to a kind of Resistance Group :p

Layla's psyche is an interesting place, hope we'll get deeper into it!

Layla seems too stuck up about being straight and honestly enjoy boys to turn 180 degrees... But I guess you were joking.

I now wonder what the... big, doompanties-afflicted version of Chloe represents.

She sure acts like Melissa for just a personality aspect... =))
For those curious: my avatar is an artistic rendering of a spaceship I drew for a primitive (by today's standards) multiplayer online game called XPilot. (More about both on my website.)

I think Chloe represents Layla's fear... Which means sisterly love might be a legit thing for Layla since it's making her unconscious anxieties go out of archetype in order to save real!Nina.

Only half joking. I've argued rather strenuously in the past that Layla may not be straight given her tendency to look down on males of every species even the ones she's dating.

^ She's really looking down a bit on everyone given her ego, except for random strikes of envy and jealousy. I wouldn't be surprised if her "curious" side grew towards bisexuality, but I doubt she'd bother with men if she wasn't honestly drawn to them, even if not as a solitary target.

I've pointed out that she tends to be less awful towards girls than to boys. Additionally, most lesbians have dated boys at some point in their lives due to social pressure to be heterosexual. In the end, though, it's up to the writers to determine how this is going to go.

At the same time, that could be because she feels far less attraction to them and thus doesn't feel conflicted about mixed feelings of contempt and budding desire. Analyzing a fake/comic teenage girl's mentality is probably an exercise for someone who has a degree in this. (I honestly don't know if you do).

But we forget that in Pixie Trix Verse, you're either bisexual or may as well be. With... one? solid and unwavering exception so far being a gay man.

Well, consdering both aspects that fight Lamia are represented by people who beat her somehow, maybe it's just layla's more competitive side?

Ok, gonna call it, these are aspects Layla doesn't like about herself or is trying to hide. What they need to win is to find something of herself that she does like, and it will be represented by Tiffany.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.
