Layla seems too stuck up about being straight and honestly enjoy boys to turn 180 degrees... But I guess you were joking.
Only half joking. I've argued rather strenuously in the past that Layla may not be straight given her tendency to look down on males of every species even the ones she's dating.
Yeah, but you can be straight and look down on guys though.

Males of every species? We've only seen her interact with three - two of whom, she's dated. And her reasons for treating them the way she did stemmed from one cheating on her and the other taking her for granted while also two-timing her. Which seems far more plausible, given what we've seen, than the idea that she allegedly hates guys.

so far being a gay man.
There's a few (and I stress the word "few") canonically straight characters to: Ace, Kade, (formerly) Ash, Melissa, and Rain.

My imagined very next panel.

*Busty!Nina (envy) pouting and crossing her arms under her chest, to emphasize her bust.* "I have an awesome figure too! Why won't you go gay for me? It's not fair."

True, but it's a bit less common, at least to my experience.

Are we leaving out DC, because most of the characters there are straight.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Have to admit that it would be a ironic plot twist if among the main characters, it's the members of the one mythical species(Vampires) that's commonly associated with homosexuality who actually turn out fully straight.

Well, aside from Dio obviously.

So if parts of Layla are hiding in a cave and Nina claims Layla isn't acting like herself, is this not a good excuse as to why?

Teddy maybe, but Chloe is bi and so is Pandora.

Kinda. I forgot about 'DC' mainly because it doesn't seem to be as closely linked as 'EC/MC' are. At least, not yet anyway.

No, 'cuz it completely ignores why those parts of her are hiding in the first place. Along with the fact that Layla's persona is being forcibly overwritten by Lamia's.

Except we're now getting confirmation that Layla is atleast bi-coo-re-us. Not to mention what Maria's been up

Are they? We know they had to practice on each other in class, so any "yuck" reflex would have been trained out, but Chloe's never shown any sign of being actually *attracted* to women. And Pandora's only instance was a prank on a transformed *man* (and we know her reason to be is "I prank therefore I am." Not to mention that it had been already verified he hadn't "really" been switched at whatever level they measure).

The only succubus in the series who's shown genuine instrest in a woman that way is Lucretia. Who hasn't progressed beyond the hair-pulling stage of her Chlobsession yet.

Straight until proven bi. Or forcibly changed into bi.
Like I said, even characters that are virtually straight, like (MAYBE) Didi and (SEEMINGLY) Sandra, are getting into lesbian adventures.

Guys are getting into gay streaks because apparently forcing a straigh guy to like other guys in any manner (genderbend, overlove spell), is... funny. Or something.

I'd make a note of how outraged we righteously are at certain underdeveloped cultures attempting to "cure" lesbianism and compare the two, but those shifts are merely on fictional characters and not nearly so directly violent.

I'd say Chloe was too underdeveloped emotionally and then isolated to develop her interests fully. Like a traditional succubus, her doompanties-infused persona as well as natural attraction to Layla's fiancee suggests she's at least not a lesbian, but nothing's been proven or disproven in the direction of girls yet, except for playing on possible attractions on vampire-succubus lines.

Which was neccessary for fanservice.

I'd say Chloe is one of the bisexual but heteroromantic types (be it out of neccessity, social expectation, or naturally fitting that way), but I don't have any proof.

More often than not people fail to see the entirety of the issue, and focus on a single facet of it. Straight until proven bi. Like "formerly" Ash.
That was a bit of a...special case. Since Mel apparently rewrote his personality with her Wand'o'Love.
