Fascinating how Laylamia here doesn't act like Layla nor the Lamia we knew until now. Less moral yet more emotional ? I don't know. I'd actually see Kade werecat form. I guess Laylamia will try to have him stuck in this form. But at the same moment Neige, Sorbet, Tia and Nina are trying to do something with Lamia's soul. I predict some unexpected results. Like Nina in Layla, Tia in a cat body, Kade as Neige and Lamia as Sorbet. Or any other deranged combination.

All I can think of is "OOHH SH**!" This cant be good

Well then she'd have to try something else. But all we can say for certain about Mr Boodles is that he's Layla's ex-pet. His being anything more than a mewing moggy comes from Nina, a girl who fails at history. Sure there are stories, but...

Meh...everybody who doesn't notice the change in Layla and is snared by her charms deserves whatever happens to them.

By the way...Maria and Eugene have been Lamia's thralls for centuries...will their loyalty to their Queen be so strong that they will be OK with Lamia completely overriding Layla? At least Eugene seems resigned to it (Maria seems to still be deluding herself into thinking that Layla will still be their daughter).

The problem is the personality hasn't altered that much just the behaviors. The basic core alpha bitch queen is common to both lives. When she said she was both Lamia and Layla she wasn't kidding but at the same time she's neither. she's the amalgam of a single personality with two different lifetimes of experiences. The memories of what she used to be able to do as Lamia (both due to a lack of needing to care and having the powers to back it up) and the realization on how she can apply that to the new opportunities her life as Layla provides if she applies a little of Layla's learned filters doesn't bode well. She's probably more dangerous now than she was as Lamia or Layla.

Teerack, I heartily agree. I've never seen Kade in complete feline form, only part cat, part human. :?
