You know Brooke, if you tried your hardest, you could protest a little more.
How much has Layla changed really? She's certainly... older... but she really seems like an older Layla, not an older stranger.
Looks like the puppy is going to have to buy a gag.
I imagine Melissa's safe at least, she has a lot of pride on that front.

Strange to have Nina the one be aware that something more sinister than Layla-only-with-much-more-memories may be at work.
As predicted, Ace is getting a hard time. What takes the cake is how successful he seems to be, even when it's Blair's unsavoury personality that's in control. I guess he could have had many girls, but he "chose" complicated relationships. At this point I wonder if he's not a bit masochistic.

So, who's "Beautiful"? I thought it was Laura at first, but the tags have been updated and she's not listed...
And I'm not sure Nina has it right - yes, Layla has clearly changed, but there's been no indication of any sort of separate personality in there whatsoever. This is more like what happens when you mix red plasticine with the blue stuff - don't be surprised the resulting purple doesn't resemble the red any more...

And y'know something...depending on who the company is, having someone in the back of your brain all the time isn't necessarily all that bad. Sometimes it can be quite the party.

MC pretty much has to be running behind timeline-wise. The last point they appeared to be in rough sync was Dakota's first appearance in both - she returns to Thornhill the night of the Ace/Mel date in EC, then brings breakfast to Mel the next morning in MC. OTOH, unless they're planning to *seriously* change Melissa by the end of the Dark Cerise Saga (scars, huge personality alteration, taking on the dark power from Cerise, etc), they might be able to keep a Mel appearance in EC spoiler-lite enough to make it work, unlike a Tiff app.
