Anyone else see Naomi not seeing Teddy in class on Monday and Prudence to the rescue? Or Teddy is dead and strip is after all Dangerously Chloe and it off to another male to be tormented by Chloe ... Hasta la vista, Teddy! Shall cherish your Avatar!
Might be a heavenly clause where an Angel cause a turn of events that lead to his death ... i.e. Prudence knocking Teddy out cold, it what could have been true love? Just an idea.

And where is the line? Would any kind of sex do, or there must be a coitus involved? Although seriously, webcomics being what they are, I can't help but think we're dropping the "contract" plotline, if not dropping Teddy entirely (entirely too far), now that we've all our ducks in a row. In any case, Teddy doesn't look too good, and going by the panties on the round pillow, they're exactly where we've established they couldn't go. I actually thought this was a teaser until I checked the other chapter headings.

The way I've always read it is "until and unless the contract is cancelled, any death of Teddy DeCarlo damns him" since his soul was Property Of Hell the moment the big thing yelled "THE CONTRACT IS SEALED!" Chloe snu-snu is relevant only in that it expedites the process.

I find Chloe's reaction to be quite interesting. It's as if she didn't expect what happened to have such an outcome, while I believe (might be wrong, though) that she knew from the very start of the comic that having sex with her would kill him...
(that's not naivete, either. Chloe isn't as clueless as she once was assumed to be, and has been shown to be quite smart in dire situations. So whatever happened there -"sex" is the obvious option. Still, I'm not completely ruling out the fact our dear authors simply want it to look as if that's what happened... - one can assume that she wasn't in her usual mind, or at least that it was in quite unusual circumstances. Succubus frenzy? Pandora? We'll have to wait to know it, I guess.)

so-o-o-o, now we have a Teddy-Goes-To-Hell story arc, ending with him returning to life, right?

I'm actually waiting for such an arc to happen. That would be absolutely awesome.

(Also yes, that's a fine way to die if there ever was. Personally, I'd like to wait till I'm a liiiiitle older, though, before being banged to death by my personal incubus. To have my cake and eat it too, I know. ;) )

A part of me thinks that this could have been a demonstration gone bad. It might have been as simple as she was hungry and she lost control.

That's an interesting and plausible explanation. Maybe Teddy got another date with Naomi and Chloe offered some practice before Teddy eventually went all the way with Naomi, given Teddy is explicitely totally unexperienced.
