The problem with an artist change is often the changes in some styles, especially when you're used to one style for years, however...I like this style...it'll take some getting used too but I do like it, so I don't mind the change...however....there is one true test.....how well this style can hold the power of Infinipuppy

After looking through a good few strips - by Giz, Cass, Eisu and Shouri herself - what's throwing me about Mel is her lack of upper eyelids and eyeliner, I think. Unless her eyes are open WIDE (which they certainly aren't here), all four artists tend to draw her eyelids fairly prominently. Here, they're completely absent - even in the panel where she has her eyes shut!

Annnnd... Cerise is not looking too pleased by this development. tbh, I kinda feel sorry for her. Even after syncing with the school to enthrall the student body, she still doesn't possess the type of respect and authority she covets.

Almost forgot: called it. I had a feeling the validity of Cerise's appointment was gonna be a factor in how Sandi was gonna help Melissa. Either Cerise didn't realize that even the student council president has to abide by the school's protocol, or she mistakenly believed that her newfound hold over the school made her exempt. I can't wait to see how she responds.

Possibly. Mel winning would certainly throw Cerise out of joint. Not sure what would happen if Cerise won so that's probably how they would go with that.

@vhd: That would require Cerise to hold it together long enough to have a hustings and vote (and she couldn't just stuff the ballot box because she would know that, in spite of the murders and brainwashing, Mel was *still* more popular than her. Just imagine what THAT would do to her!).

Given her rant at "Skye" about wanting Melissa in chains at her feet, I doubt that twitch indicates patience. More likely, she's about to go full Mr. Inky - her eyes have been black for a good while now, and we saw the tentacles when she stabbed Tandy.

If she does, that might even discombobulate the crowd enough to give the ninjas a chance to grab Ms. President, her aide-de-camp and their sempai...

But here's a thought: what if Sandi finds some stipulation in the school's rules to the effect of the student council president having to prove herself in combat ?

If there is such a rule that even the student council president has to abide by, that may be a way of getting around the other students.

Also:

Cerise may not care, but she may not have a choice, no matter how powerful she thinks she is. Even Faith had to operate within the school's rules; including when she was abusing privileges (3rd panel). So I doubt Cerise will be free to simply do as she pleases.

More to the point, Faith sent Sandi with them, 'cuz she said Mel would need her. The Hellrunes have only been at Artemis for a few months now, which is hardly time enough to learn all the school's rules and whatnot. I'm betting Sandi knows 'em like the back of her hand and can recite 'em verbatim. It may be how she'll help Melissa and Tandy.

Just to precise, I mentioned I'm not too fond of how Sandi looks in Shouri's style because this is the sole point that really bugs me. For all the rest, I'm pretty satisfied with the change of artist (Cerise looks is particulalry awesome). Of course, it's in Fragile that Shouri is the best. ;)
