The Banter is actually a rather important thing. It shows that Teddy is adapting. Too many odd couple comedies have the 'Normal' one never really adapt to the situation. Teddy is getting used to it decently well (His sister a little concerning well at times. I wonder if we'll find her trying to jump Chloe like a vamp at some point)

I do really like Teddy as a protagonist. While he suffers his pratfalls, he's not defined by pratfalling and he manages to hold his own in the relationship, rather than being dominated by Chloe and the weirdness she brings in.
