Of course, there is a worse possibility... just how much is altered the orb?

Ace-ette: "Isn't he dreamy? WHAT AM I SAYING!!!"
"Don't call me a dirty old man.... Cuz I'm not old... I'm of a fine vintage..."
"Get your mind out the gutter... you're crowding me."

Kade would probably consider that a challenge.
Yes, it is as bad as you think, and they are out to get you

Kade is the typical 'tomcat'... cats around and still knows he'll have warm milk and kibble waiting for him at home.
Pretty much teflon tomcat in this case.

All he's done and tried to do with Layla and she hasn't hung him out to dry just yet.

On average, puberty starts a year earlier for girls. It may just be that.

This seemed like as good an explaination as any.

Or it could something along the lines of why Donald runs around pantless, yet Daisy gets a skirt. *shrugs*

When GrAce goes to the bathroom:

1 - Which bathroom will s/he choose? Boys or girls?
2 - Will s/he try to pee standing up out of habit?

Come to think of it, the bathrooms will be awfully messy by the end of the day! New girls forgetting to sit down, new boys having fun with target practice! Poor Jeffrey! :))

Well the meta reason is that the skirt is one of the cues that tell us that Daisy is in fact a female, while the meta reason for Ace not having furry hands is so that Kade won't recognize her or at least fail to recognize that she's another werewolf. But internally, Ace's father doesn't have furry hands, so I'm guessing Ace's furry hands are the product of his only recently having gone through puberty, they're the werewolf equivalent of your voice cracking. It might be taking the metaphor too far to point out that girls don't have that symptom of puberty, but girls do start puberty earlier on average so a girl version of Ace might have already passed through that stage of development.

There is another possibility... it might be that his family trait is to be a wolfman.

Quick question... does that count as a pun? Regardless, that's just sad... and if it is a pun, it's a bad one.

Makes me wonder whether male Nina gets similar treatment from the female cast.

Male Nina is easier to recognize for their distinctive hair.

In the third panel, Ace refers to Nino as "she" showing some gender confusion, at least to someone else. If he does no other good, at least Kade is reminding Ace she is a girl now.
