Hmm...I assumed that the EC-verse monsters were not 'infected' but were natural born that way. Ace, Layla, Nina, Dio, Mme Delacroix et al are not victims of an attack but were simply genetically "monsters".

They both are shapeshifters. :D
Heh, thank goodness this isn't old World of Darkness since that would make Brooke a Mokole (think shapeshifting dinosaurs). They induce The Delirium (overwhelming terror) in Werewolves!

NO! Brooke is a Naga(wereserpent) . We've even seen her assume her Azhi Dahaka form

However, best soulutuon would be for them to both be Lunar Exalted*. If they wanted to see other people they'd only have to find someone and ingest their Heart's Blood.

*well, ok ,if they were lunar they'd be less into each other and more intok whover their Solar/Abyssal/Infernal mates kight be. Hey, we already saw in !C Melissa is rather Solarlike now, and Layla's rather Abyssal......

I'd better stop before I geek out even more on this.

The PMS and VC share universe with the Eerie Cuties cast, and both the Cheerleaders and Katie Kane were born human and later infected. Also, Faith spoke about infection when Tiff was bitten (http://www.magickchicks.com/strips-mc/r ... our_energy), and Tiff thought she had been turned after the ghostly sword incident (http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/slurp), and while Tiff is far from being a genius, she has a wide knowledge about monsters.

Mmm...Tiff has been bitten twice. If vampirism is really infectious, she is under a high risk of becoming the most awkward vampire ever...

To my understanding, there are 'breed' and 'infected' types. And given what we've seen of AA, wouldn't take the ideas they have on the mater to be of any importance...

Yes, there are "pureblood" vampires like Dio and the Delacroix family, infected ones like the cheerleaders and even half-bloods like JC. The same with werewolves: Katia was infected, Ace was born that way.

But, since Katia is an infectious werewolf, I think she can infect other people too.

Tiff knew about the cursed mirror and identified an Hekatean shrine. Faith was able to resist vampiric mental domination. They seem to have the theorical knowledge, what they lack is practical efficiency.

Faith was able to resist domination because she's trained to resist mental attacks in general and is stronger in this anyway.

PMS/VC imports *C-verse canon, since Delacroix appeared not only in crossovers - but does it work both ways? In EC there were only 2 pages marked as guest strip.

This runs into the usual, that is Ludicrous Viral Replication problem: Layla drinks blood every day and usually not from a can, so if vampirism was really infectious and they infected others too... On PMS/VC side, a simple bite also does nothing (or Leo would already join the club, and both teams, and...) - Heather was all covered in bite marks.
As to specifically Tiffany's wide knowledge... three words: cross shaped mirror. :))
Faith sort of had a point about infection because, well, in the end it looks like a non-sterile neck wound. Though apparently this was a false alarm too (see below).
Most likely there's no consequences beyond blood loss, all panic was due to be plain ignorance of AA students. Besides, Maria handles it in a "friendly" way. :)
In fact, we have good reasons to assume that in normal circumstances vampire bite is safer than an average IV injection. It makes sense: if no one notices vampires' feeding, perhaps this simply doesn't leave long-term giveaways?
Bite marks on Tiffany obviously regenerated on the way home, leaving no trace. Then, Maria is the only vampire we know of (in either 'verse) who ever told her victims to wash necks beforehand. =)) Yet if neck wounds got all infected and swollen, fast closing or not, someone would notice. And if centuries-old vampires carried everything they caught from people they have bitten, they could depopulate whole cities by dispensing collections ranging from hepatitis back to black plague, with extra updated strains from every time they bite someone infected the next week - provided they are immune themselves, that is. Since they aren't walking extinction events, we can assume something (saliva?) makes a bite antiseptic.

As a matter of fact, it seems that both in the Eeriverse and the PMS-verse (or both, if we accept they are the same) vampires have mirror reflections and aren't afraid of crosses.

Since the entire point of that segment seemed to be that Tiff didn't "realize" that she wasn't a vampire based on that, it doesn't really tell us anything about whether she knew vampires aren't affected by mirrors or crosses. The sun, however...

Regarding "infection," it seems pretty clear from Faith's dialogue that there has to be actual mixing of blood.

Faith also cried "you murderer!". And doesn't make an impression of someone interested in any lesson other than "more power", "show off" and "very immersive sessions". She isn't even interested in the council meetings, trappings of her formal power.

But of course. Maria got a good taste in everything. The real lady. :)
She is also so playful about biting, this cracks me up every time.

Vampires are often, if not nearly always, murderers.

I just caught up with the web comic. Brooke's nabbing of Ash was hilarious.

And so in character. It's how she "shanghaied" Kade the previous time she hissed at Ace, remember? :))
