Faith hasn't paid much attention to Melissa lately though. Last we saw them interact at all was the crossover a year ago our time. Since then, Faith only mentioned Melissa once, during the posed masseures' attack (when she was worried for her knowing about the wand). Faith's been mostly concerned about Tiffany, Skye, and Callie/Cerise (together, since they're a couple). Mel hasn't been too concerned about Faith recently either, not since acquiring the wand.

Which is a point. Those two need to get back into contact soon, either as enemies again or otherwise

Easy win for Mel. All she has to do is summon up a 10,000 gallon pot of boiling water, and 100 pounds of butter, plus 30 lemons.

You mean that it's time for a giant lobster bisque, huh?

Why is it that all I can think at this point is that the two should take the advice Tiff gives out at the end of this strip http://www.magickchicks.com/strips-mc/say_uncle!

Her clapping is ment to be ironic.

I'm just wondering if Cerise's forbidden magic will force Melissa to enter into magic girl state in order to beat her, because lets face it, I don't really see how cerise can win this even with some new powerful magic.

At least, now she isn't going to bleat and hiss and shuffle until "to the action!" will be forced upon her, so the tacky part is still half for half.
Though she may be dangerous enough even without that wand.

I'm not sure about that. Especially given the whole situation. They still are a team in other ways, after all. Maybe she just got Cerise promoted from "lazy wannabe running on dumb luck" to "worthy opponent"?

Mel isn't clapping. That's just how her karate stance looks from that angle.

Because in your mind that's Rome and all roads lead there?

But, they can't do that. That would require Cerise to cheat on Callie.

Just great. Now I'm hungry. =p~

Cerise,
I admire your moxie. Honest. I know where you're coming from. I know why you picked a fight w/ your former Frenemy, but I'm detecting a pattern here. I understand the appeal of the psy-ops approach of saving yourself a huge fight by scaring the shit out of the opposition with an intimidating display &/ all-out full-bore overwhelming 1st attack, but no one can afford to be a one-trick pony. You're up against someone you really need to give a profound & public humiliation to for the sake of your own sanity. Go for a mash-up of Rope-A-Dope & Bait-&-Switch - play it out for time while letting Mel overextend herself, letting her think she knows how you're defending yourself & coming at her & then when she comes in for the kill because she has to because she's running low switch it up right in the middle of your strike & mop the floor w/ her in front of everyone. Congratulations, Nova Alpha.

Count me in on the "Dream" team, btw

What stance? Her palms are close and the lower is half-cupped. More or less like this: :ymapplause:

I think at the point when the objective is formulated this way it may be a little too late to worry. :-=

I really don't know where the idea that she is clapping came from. Look at the first frame, you can see she has the same position in both images, just from a different angle. She isn't clapping it is merely a battle stance.

30 lemons isn't nearly enough for something that big. 30 bushels of lemons perhaps.
