Actually most of the Crones can command the Crows and Ravens. So do some deities of Law and Justice, Odin being a prime example. Some Native American tribes considered the Raven to be a Judge since they see so much from their height. Btw, I'm trying to figure out the look on Callie's face in panel 1. She's outside the group, being ignored at her own birthday party, yet looks half-smiling. Is that happy for Cerise, glad at not being the center of attention (she is shy after all)? I'm just not sure what to think there.....
May not matter though. With Skye here, we may see something else that will get Cerise out of the transparent closet: Skye may hurt Callie, worrying Cerise. Which, combined with what Faith said earlier will make her realize that yes, she does care about Callie.

Though, given that Skye is "the animal telepathy girl", this could all be a huge unintended red herring. She may just have twigged that she can use her powers in cool ways, and recruited a passing birdie to fly a little recon for her.

This does not bode well for Cerise, but Skye just barged into Faith's house and while she probably has no problem with an entertaining cat fight she can't very well be the leader of this pack if she doesn't step in.

I'm taking it to have been a week at least since wewe last saw her. The shopping trip where she was taken was on a Saturday, and this party is also obviously on a weekend. Given there's been school in between, that's a full week. Then again, Mel's already showing muscle development from her training, which only started a week before the shopping trip. But, I'm not sure how long that would take, so not sure now to factor it in.
