I don't think faith is going to like the corps messing with her two top favorite ladies. Even excluding her, they don't know what they're messing with. They will be a further complication with everything else going on in the shadows.

If someone trained on the side (only speaking from their persoective, they dont know about the wand and such) can utterly destroy someone specializing in the field, they have worse things to worry about concerning themselves.

edit: Hmmm.... I wonder if there is anything other than competitive spirit and pride fuelling the competition. Something tangible, perhaps, that the winning team gets from the school?

Maybe Rain and Abbey feel a little betrayed? It did seem like they were at least friendly with Tiff before, and now it turns out she was training someone from the magic cadets who then beat Rain. She even acted like she and Melissa didn't really know each other until afterwards where the whole hugging and happy happens. I would feel a little stabbed in the back too, maybe not to the point of scheming though.

Considering the overriding goal of the students is to be able to hunt evil monsters. You'd think that physical combat would be a requirement for all groups. Not just the Corps.

So, if a magical cadet happens to be better than you in your own specialty, despite of you focusing in that, is she supposed to pretend she is worse than you and let you win just so you can feel better with yourself? I guess they expect vampires and werewolves to do the same, don't they?.

Seriously, they should be begging Tiff to coach THEM, because they have proven to be lame in what they do. WTF, their TEACHERS should ask for Tiff's help, because she has proven to be much better doing their job than they do.

Two things : No one loves a tratior ... it would be like a first stringer going over to the opposing team's quaterback and give free lessons ... which allowed them to beat your team in the big game and it was all done behind everyon's back. Makes a warmy and fuzzy aftershcool movies but in real life it just annoys everyone. Especially your teammates. No one loves a tratior.

AJ and Rain want to get back at someone who they feel is being dishonest and disloyal, yea you know it end up Tiff telling them that she been training Mel to go against Faith.

So many great expressions in this update. I can't decide whether Mel's disgusted face in Panel 1, the rest of the Magical Cadets in that panel, Cerise's shocked face in Panel 2, or Jacqui's absolutely beautiful expression (with puppy!) in Panel 3 is my favorite.

O.K., maybe it's Jacqui. That may be the best she's ever looked.

Can I break out the DUN-DUN DUUUUNNN! after Abby Jo's line? Looks like Tiff's gonna have to watch her back amongst her own corps.
