Since this isn't in color we have no way of knowing, I thought Rain already dyed her hair and if not it's significant that her hair would be like that naturally. I really don't have any basis for this conclusion since it's just the fans that think many of the cadet are based on the Ponies.

As much as this will improve Mel's standing at the school she's probably not going to be happy that she can do another useful thing and Cerise will probably get more desperate in her social climbing. Now to see who Jacqui's opponent will be.
