frankly, i think the arc was just a bit too mean-spirited to be enjoyable. the "torture the puppy" bit has been done...now apparently we have to watch as it's ridden into the ground? bleah.

Well, it's obvious what's going on here. Nina's "crush" on Kade was just a smokescreen. What she's really after is getting Ace and Kade together, as she believes they're destined for each other.

Oh. My. Dear. I am considering three possibilities:
1) Nina's personality is actually far more like Layla's than has previously been exhibited. It has been latent until now. (Yeesh!)
2) Poor Nina is amazingly clueless and has no idea of the horror she is inflicting on her former (and future?) crush'
3) She actually made two sweaters, one without a text and logo, and gave Ace the wrong one. I hope and pray this is the case.
