Tiff seems to have zeroed on Layla and Mel, two people seem to be at core good (they're still jerks, but hey, they're teenagers). Tiff will find excuses not to slay them. Faith is someone Tiff doesn't trust, but Mel and Layla?

Pffth, I thought they're trying to make Melissa sympathetic. Still, I don't think she would've gone through with killing Layla. It's one thing thinking about killing someone, but actually doing it, actually driving a stake through someone's heart who's begging for mercy - that's different...

On the other hand: why would Tiff believe Layla? Melissa could just say: "Monster school? She's just lying to save her skin. I never met her before, and I'm not a witch, I'm a magical girl!" And the last one might even be true.

So we have Mel, who doesn't want to be revealed as a witch to Tiff, or magical girl to Layla.

We have Layla trying to get Dio and Tiffany Winters in a date with each other.

We have Dio trying to change the participents to Kade with Tiffany, rather than himself with Tiffany.

We have Tiffany who thnks it's a trap not realising Layla actually did intend a date. So Tiff has decided to spring the trap by using it asone of her own.

It looks like a lot of stuff will get revealed soon and there are two problems Dio and Ash. If they carry the revelations back Layla and Tiffany will be in trouble. Mel's actually in the least hot water here.

But it seems like Mel and Layla are in one of those "mutally ensured destruction" situations. If one outs the other, the other will out the first one and both of them will be killed(or at least actively hunted).
