Haven't bought it, but I saw an excerpt online.

While it's unexpected that gender-switched Moose is not more like Didi in stature, I like the "Mouse" nickname enough that I think making her tiny works all right.

Oh, and my friends want to know where gender-switched Kevin is.

We actually tried two versions of Moose as a female and ended up going with the tiny Mouse version. Kevin wasn't in the script. It's possible the script was written or thought up at a time when Kevin wasn't present or only being introduced in the Archie verse. Only Tania could answer this. Maybe if we revisit it, Kevin will be present.

I could easily see this being revisted by saying that Sabrina's counterspell didn't quite measure up, so every so often things revert back to the flip. Sometimes it fixes itself a bit later, and sometimes it takes active intervention...

Kevin as a lesbian... Fascinating! :-B

It wouldn't surprise me if a Reversedale alternate Universe angle becomes a regular feature in the Life with Archie series. It really does feel as if a single issue of this switcheroo simply wasn't enough.

On another note, I've spotted Archie #635 and #636 on BitTorrent. But while the other Archie comic books are available in combination with various books in a single torrent, the two books specifically drawn by Giz can be found individually, which is a rarity for this particular series. I'm not advocating piracy here, but my experience has shown that the content of most copyrighted material found on BitTorrent sites are usually of very high quality. Most pirates won't bother wasting time torrenting bad content. The fact that someone went through the trouble of creating individual torrents of Giz's work indicates how good of a job she's done drawing the two books.

Or how high her profile is among people, like torrenters, who are online a lot. I've known about Giz since Cool Cat Studio, and Penny and Aggie was a pretty widely known long-runner. Add in the fans who came in with her current strips, and yeah, there's going to be interest.

I want to see Mel of the Junkyard Dogs say something vapid! Heck, I want to see the whole Reversedale-version of Josie and the Pussycats. The Cabots present dificulty, but meh.

Joey and the Junkyard Dogs. Alley Cats is still feminine. (Also...ah...implies something...more appropriate to, say, Ma3.)

Just occurred to me. JJ's government name is likely Forsythia P. Jones...

I just read the comic. I liked it, and I loved seeing everyone genderbent, Moose/Mouse especially made me laugh. My only complaint is that it had to end too soon. Sad. Though what's even sadder is that it took me the second read-through to realize Joey and the Junkyard Dogs were male versions of Josie and the Pussycats.
Hopefully it'll be popular enough that the Archie gods will revisit it in the future.

Thinking on what Kradeiz just said, am I right in assuming that 99% of the time, any storyline is to be finished in a single issue?

Sure seems that way.

Just realized after reading again that we didn't get to see a male Midge (I guess you could keep the name the same, it could be unisex) or male Ethel (Big Ethan, maybe?). Oh well, maybe next time. And here's hoping if they try it again that they get Giz to do the artwork again.

Finally got ahold of a copy. Yay! Fantastic artwork Giz, I loved your takes on the Archie cast, both regular and reversed-gender. Do you think they'll ever decide to revisit ReverseDale?

And, would you and Dave ever consider an Eerie Cuties/Sabrina crossover? (Darnit, I can dream!)

Glad you liked, Lokitsu. :)
No idea if they'll revisit it. If they do, and ask me to draw it, I'll gladly do it.
EC/Sabrina crossover? Yeah, you can dream. lol (Would sure be fun though!)

My copy of 636 arrived today.

I don't know why...it just seemed to help me calm down a lot.
