Tiff has no idea Mel knows Layla, I presume.

And I had a dickens of a time figuring out who the blond guy was until I realized he was just Tiff's guess of Layla's date.

Yes! This is perfect! Tiff quite sensibly not bringing the evil, evil Faith in, instead using her new best friend Mel.

Tiff needs more trusted friends, looks like, but the way Faith operates, maybe most of her classmates are mentally compromised at this point.

Poor Mel. Poor Layla! (Well, it is Layla, so I don't feel too bad. Actually a jerkass collision between Mel and Layla might be really bad or really funny.)

Hmm, Mel coming from Layla's school is a secret. Layla wouldn't know that it is supposed to be a secret. Mel can't just let Layla see her and let Tiff know that they know each other. Also, Layla and Mel aren't exactly the best of friends. This will get awkward.
